Side Effects - Lexapro

I have just started taking Lexapro...second day and wow...side effects for me! Heart burn, insomnia, tremors (shaking on inside & outside), nautious, sweats and at times arms feel like they're burning..

If anyone has had these side effects...did you change or continue with Lexapro and did the side effects calm down?

Hello, Kiara! How are you? I'm sorry about how you're feeling.

Those tremors, however, are concerning and you should speak to your doctor about them. That's not a normal side effect as listed by the FDA.

The nausea, sweating, insomnia, heartburn and etc. are expected, however.

Is there anything else I can help with?

And this is a typical thing I have seen. The government wants us ALL off of "addictive" meds like benzo's but Lexapro withdrawl can last 5x longer. It is terrible. My doctor finally took me off it after 3 months of horrible panic attacks.
