There are a lot of things that are made illegal for various agendas. Look at the medications that our wonderfull FDA has approved. Internal bleeding organ shutdown, suicidal thoughts, confusion, coma and death. US pharmaceutical and medical corporations would go out of business if people got better. So put that in your uppity thoughts!

The FDA works in conjunction with the pharmaceutical companies...they do not want a drug that will make millions of people feel better... Rumoquin works!

For three years have been in lot of pain. To where Iam's housebound. Can't walk far can't drive . At home can't do housework pain in my SCIATIC is a 24 hour pain nothing will take it way. Not even pain killers. Or nerve ending pills relievers either. A friend brought me Rumoquin n.f. Four pills only! Took one by god in 1/2 hour my scatic pain was gone. Something that l dreamed to find something for this scatic pain to go away. My friend got me a bottle of Rumoquin. I am very concern about side affects. But if you are careful and not take long term it will be fine. I only take one every 24 hrs.

checking out the drug info online, and the ingredients are found in OTC Tylenol Pain Nighttime, and Advil PM. Dicloflenac is a pain relief/anti-imflammitory, can be in a cream form, or tablet kind of like aspirin is in aspercream. Metacarb(sp) is a mild muscle relaxant found in most OTC pain PM meds. My mom had to get a precscription while visiting relatives in Mexico last fall, and the dr prescribed to her Rumoquin. Its cheap in Mexico, no idea why, but I assume that once the US/Canadian governments get their hands on it, they will make it near impossible for us to get access to it. If it works and its inexpensive why not? I would be a bit leary of meds for weight loss from any country regardless.

Warning Re: RUNOQUIN....ONE OF THE ingredients really messes with OUR BLOOD..The active ingredients are 100mgs of Pheylbutazone, 200mgs of Methocarbamol and 0.75mgs of Dexamethasone. The danger is: PHEYLBUTAZONE..the anti-inflammatory (kind of a second-cousin to Advil-but with some adverse effects that got it banned in the US decades ago..now banned even in horses too) Decades ago phenylbutazone, a compound originally used in Europe as a solubilizing agent for various analgesics given by intramuscular injection, was introduced to the drug compendium in the US for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and gout, nonetheless with fateful brevity. Admitted in 1949, and shortly thereafter banned by the FDA for human use, by the year 2003 the ban extended to animals intended for human consumption given that investigation by FDA and State regulatory counterparts determined that phenylbutazone residues were discovered in culled dairy cattle.

At the time this did not include horses or dogs as in North America neither are considered food animals.

"Phenylbutazone (PBZ) was marketed in the United States for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and gout in 1952. Serious and often fatal adverse effects such as aplastic anemia and agranulocytosis appeared in the literature within three years of its use . . . . . The serious adverse effects of PBZ culminated in its unavailability for human use in the United States.

Apart from aplastic anemia (bone marrow suppression) and agranulocytosis (reduction in infection fighting white blood cells), phenylbutazone and its principal metabolite oxyphenbutazone have also been implicated in thrombocytopenia (low platelet count), leucopenia (decreased white blood cells), pancytopenia (reduced red and white blood cells and platelets), hemolytic anemia (abnormal breakdown of red blood cells) and can cause hypersensitivity reactions in the liver leading to death. Moreover, phenylbutazone is a carcinogen, as determined by the National Toxicology Program.

Clearly there is apt rationale for banning phenylbutazone for human use as well as animals intended for human consumption both as a function of its toxicity and the causal certainty that residues will always be present to some extent in the blood and hence tissues of animals slaughtered for food. Additionally, what is most disconcerting is that the lethal adverse effects in humans are not always dose-dependent and demonstrate unique outcomes contingent on a particular individual’s susceptibility. In essence what this implies is that even in small quantities phenylbutazone and its metabolites can have deleterious effects on human health.

To this end, the FDA has banned the use of phenylbutazone in horses destined for slaughter.

Phenylbutazone was originally made available for use in humans for the treatment ofrheumatoid arthritis and gout in 1949. However, it is no longer approved, and therefore not marketed, for any human use in the United States. In horses Phenylbutazone is commonly used in horses for the following purposes: Analgesia: It is used for pain relief from infections and musculoskeletal disorders, including sprains, overuse injuries, tendinitis, arthralgias, arthritis, and laminitis. Like other NSAIDs, it acts directly on musculoskeletal tissue to control inflammation, thereby reducing secondary inflammatory damage, alleviating pain, and restoring range of motion. It does not cure musculoskeletal ailments or work well on colic pain. Antipyresis: It is used for reduction of fevers. Its antipyretic qualities may mask other symptoms; therefore, it should not be administered for this purpose unless aveterinarian has concluded the horse would not be able to eat or drink without its use or that the fever might hinder the horse's recovery.
From a veternary magazine in Ireland- here is excerpt I found..Phenylbutazone (bute) is arguably the most potent and effective pain relieving agent available in equine medicine in this countr y. The difficulty with phenylbutazone is that it, or its metabolite, can cause aplastic anaemia in children. If a child were to onsume an animal-based product containing even the minutest amount of bute or its metabolite then the child may develop aplastic anaemia- meaning one's body does not make red blood cells.. As the horse is deemed a food-producing animal and horsemeat is consumed in large quantities in Europe, the European Commission decided to remove phenylbutazone from the shelf and ban its use altogether.

The Methocarbamol .. info from USDA: Methocarbamol, a carbamate derivative of guaifenesin, is a central nervous system (CNS) depressant with sedative and musculoskeletal relaxant properties..Indications and Usage for Methocarbamol Methocarbamol is indicated as an adjunct to rest, physical therapy, and other measures for the relief of discomfort associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. The mode of action of Methocarbamol has not been clearly identified, but may be related to its sedative properties. Methocarbamol does not directly relax tense skeletal muscles in man.

Dexamethasone is a steroid class medication, used to treat swelling. Dexamethasone is a steroid that prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. Dexamethasone is used to treat many different conditions such as allergic disorders, skin conditions, arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, or breathing disorders. Steroid medication can weaken your immune system, making it easier for you to get an infection or worsening an infection you already have or have recently had. Long term use is not recommended, and has numerous systemic degenerative effects including osteoporosis. It is contraindicated in liver and kidney disease, and should be avoided by patients with diabetes, thyroid conditions, high blood pressure, glaucoma, and many other chronic conditions. Short term use only.

You can purchase rumoquin at most Mexican pharmacies. I was caught off guard about 2 weeks ago when the customs agent ask me what type of drug rumoquin was. It was the first time in 20 years they have ever questioned medication. I was allowed to go through with a bottle of 90 which cost about $10.
