Your friend likely got more than one medication filled and meant to give u a hydrocodone or maybe not but he gave u a ferocet my dear. Sorry for ur disappointment. But that pill is definitely not a real pain pill. It may helpwith some pain but not like a oxycodone or hydrocodone. It just depends on the type of pain.

Well my doctor lied to me then. I have an herniated disc as well as a bulging disc. He gave me this pill as a pain for my back. I take the Norco ( hydrocodone) but the don't help anymore. So he changed to this. So your telling me that this is not a pain pill?

It IS fioricet. It IS NOT hydrocodone. It isn't an opiate med. It's primarily for stress and headaches due to muscle tension. If someone told you they were hydrocodone, you got beat.

This is a bogus reply there is NO 50 mg hydro. This med is fiorcet. PERIOD this is for migraine headaches. And is. Barb. Not hydro

you cannot possibly be an RN. The style of writing you used in your response indicates that you could not possibly be a Registered Nurse. You may be a CNA, but definitely not an RN!

I have two different pills in my pill bottle. One of them says a v/2355 and the is a blue that says LCI/1695.

The Blue LCI 1695 is the same medication as the White V 2355. They're both Fioricet. 325/50/40

They DO NOT CONTAIN HYDROCODONE..Period!!! That should be the end of the discussion. It's just that simple, they just don't.

phenobarb is considered a controlled substance but in this form such as in fioricet you don't need to show your drivers license to pick up such as with hydrocodone

I have bad migraines was prescribed this it doesn't do anything they said it was perfect for migraine headaches I don't know what to do you have any suggestions please help

There is also another brand name for it, Esgic. It contains acetaminophen/butalbital/ caffeine. This also comes in capsule form, which in my opinion works a lot better, for migraines, tension & stress headache but it must be specified on your prescription otherwise you will get tablets. They ARE NARCOTIC now although have not been in the past. I want to say it was 2015 when this was changed by the FDA. Our pharmacist told us, pretty much anything now with acetaminophen in it has been/will be labeled as NARCOTIC. Such as a pain medicine generic: tramadol brand name: Ultram is also a narcotic now. It has to do with acetaminophen in them and all of the damage to the liver they are now saying is being caused by excessive amounts of it. I'm shocked they haven't made Tylenol, goody powders, or Tylenol arthritis narcotic lol! With proper caution of acetaminophen use and non-abuse these shouldn't be harmful. It is by no means anywhere near a Norco which contains hydrocodone & acetaminophen. The only similarities is the acetaminophen. I would suggest, like some one else mentioned prior to throughly speak with you dr & pharmacist about it if you have any questions.

yes i take this pill 2355 with a V on the front which is firocet i do not know if i spelled that correctly but the side affects are

drowsiness.
lightheadedness.
dizziness, sedation.
shortness of breath.
nausea.
vomiting.
abdominal pain, and.
intoxicated feeling.

and it does give me like a drunk feeling as i believe its the dizziness side affect
