Round Blue Pill With A D On Top Of Scored Part 10 Bottom. Flip Side With 2 M's Or W's. From Mexico

Family bought in Cozumel. They said it was zanax. No bottle was given. Round blue pill, that is scored on one side with d on top of scored part and 10 on bottom part. The other side with 2 M's or 2 W's overlapping each other.

This is not alprazolam but DIAZEPAM 10mg. Many mistake logo for "WW" but it is in fact being read upside down; maker is M&A Pharma of the UK. Should not be a very light blue, and should have a crunchy rather thsn chalky texture. It is the most counterfeited benzo in the UK - the make always comes in pharmacy tubs, not blister packs, and is rarely dispensed by any other pharmacy than the Boot's chain. The real ones are very good indeed, counterfeits sometimes contain diazepam but are generally complete fakes. Recently international online pharmacies have been selling the fakes; notably a couple operating out of India. I have a photo of a couple of the fakes, but can't work out how to post it here! If I do, I'll report back. I might even set up a page specifically for posting images, and will give the URL.

UNLESS you have received these from UK and they have been verified as real M&A 10mg diazepam, keep well away. One batch was recently found to contain strychnine, and a Scottish Health Board was forced to issue a warning through the press. Obverse: MA stylised, looking upside down just like two "W"s: reverse single scored, "D" above and "10" below. Being sold for £160 per 500 loose by one well known vendor - who originates in India. These are counterfeit.

That is also the identification I am finding for these tablets, 10mg Diazepam. And yes, there are many complaints about counterfeit ones, so there's no way of knowing if they are real, or not.
