Hello, Theresa! How are you doing?

Risperdal is a very potent antipsychotic and it's sedative like effects tend to take effect very fast. It usually doesn't take weeks to have a beneficial effect like most antidepressants.

Learn more Risperdal details here.

It can cause some side effects, most due to the sedative like effects, so they can include nausea, dizziness and weight gain.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Yes, did you ever take it? I am being prescribed for it off label for racing thoughts/anxiety. Can you tell me how long for that? Please respond.

Hi.. I've been having sleeping disorders for about 20yrs now... I've been on drugs like nuzak n zopax..for yrs.... Due to personal reasons, I left it for a few yrs but had to go back on an antidepressant. Now it's Prozac... I'm also on Duromine for weight-loss. Recently we've been experiencing family problems... The most sleep I get is 2 or 3 hours or restless sleep... Now that schools out I need to sleep. Most of the scheduled sleeping drugs require scripts... Plz advise me something strong to regain the 8 hrs of sleep I so desperately need. Dormonacort n zopax 1mg has worked for me... But what can I get without a script... Plz help...
