The pill is white round imprinted with RP and 7.5 325. Manufactured by rhodes pharmaceuticals. It is oxycodone/acetaminophen. Have there been any reviews good or bad on this pill or compared to other manufacturers?

I think the product is fake no oxcodone in it at all and after you take it you go right into withdrawals

These Percocet are worthless. My normal Rx was on back order so I went to CVS and got my medication from there. Not sure what the deal is but these pills did nothing, I got more relief from aleve then my oxy. I've seen a few reviews on other sites saying the same thing. I've been on oxy for 3+ years for my back and knees and at first I thought I was building a tolerance. This is not the case, my father is prescribed the same as I am due to genetic back issues in my family and I took one of his (the ones i normally get) and worked as allows. Stay away from these or you will be in pain.

I have been taken oxycodone for years for chronic back pain receive this manufacturers prescription in August 2016 take them as prescribed and they do nothing good make you sick they do not help with pain they make me nauseous inevitable do not understand how they are on the market something is definitely wrong

The Pharmacy will not change who they get there Pain Meds from. So I see my Dr next week and I going to ask him to write the Script for only name brand.

Is there a pharmaceutical oxycodone that in your opinion does relieve pain and not make it worse as I too have seen with Rhodes Oxycodone?

Medicine, if you can call it that, does nothing to relieve chronic pain which I have suffered with for 17 years. It has to be what is called a BioSimilar that is stirred up in a lab as a 100% fake Synthetic. The FDA told the pharmaceutical companies that the fake 100% Synthetic BioSimilar pain medications only had to "mimic" real opioid pain relievers which are called BioLogics and contain natural earth grown pain relief plants with a small amount of a synthetic material as a filler such as acetaminophen or gel in a Gelcap. Check out the Multi State legal cases against the FDA and the Pharmaceutical Companies who are MisBranding, MisLabeling and MisRepresenting Opioid Pain Relievers that they and the FDA know are synthetic fakes.

Hi on these Oxycodone, I take 20mg. And it is made from Rhodes Pharmaceuticals. And I too have noticed that I'm not getting any Pain Relief from these Pills. I have been taking them for about 2 months and I have been alot more Pain since I have been taking them. So how do I get to get the right(the one's that will me with my PAIN) one's??? Because the Pharmacy that I get them says there same as the Original version.

Please read my post from the other day about Rhodes Pharma...and these sub level generics for pain. As a nurse, I am quite schooled in meds and as a fellow pain sufferer, I have been through 41 years if pain...that more than qualifies me as an "expert" on this subject.
To add to my post.. years ago pain meds were made correctly with no wiggle room for money saving techniques that only hurt the consumer. Life had changed and I have suffered so intensely from these pharmacies and their inhuman practices that it can be hard to go on. The only recourse we have as patients and consumers is to protest..loudly.

We must form an alliance and a patient advocacy that moves from state to state to refuse these inferior drugs that are NOT controlling our pain and we must refuse to accept "whatever" generic is the flavor of the month. Many I'll people, with chronic disease or years of injuries just CAN'T tolerate these "differences"! This is not rocket science..it is obvious common sense and these pharma companies know this and choose to ignore these facts all in the name of PROFIT.

Ad an advocate for 35 years, I feel it is now time to really get serious about this issue of generic switching, 20% less active ingredients and no concerns for human suffering. Taking a stand is the only way this will change. I'm ready for a revolution..are you???

After conferring with my RX insurance company regarding my negative experience with Rhodes Percoset 5 mg., they actually suggested Endoset 5/325. Endo manufactures the brand for Percoset and Endoset is its generic version. I secured a new prescription from my neurologist (which specifically specified Endoset "Brand". The order was placed by CVS and after one week, received Endoset (manufactured by Qualitest). I was charged the same as a generic. Needless to say, it's quite effective without the side effect of the horrific Rhodes. Its an alternative way to secure the Qualitest generic if you're willing to wait for the order to be placed by CVS.

I find Rhodes Pharmaceutical oxycodone to be toxic compared to kvk. It makes me feel sick after a few days of taking it and also makes me feel very jittery after taking it. I do not get these side effects with kvk oxycodone
It is the brand carried by Walmart in Florida. My advice is fill it somewhere else to get it by another manufacturer

I'm in agreement with the negative posts about Rhodes 10/325 Percocet
I use CVS in CA and will be contacting my Dr. For a new prescription. Watson was the best Percocet experience, and have had CVS change manufacturers a number of times over the past few years. There is without a doubt a huge difference between manufacturers, and the FDA needs to do their job of regulating the quality of the products available.

When I got my next refill prescription in 9/2016 I went to Walgreen's (Michigan). They had Actavis, which is not that great but for me it works better than Rhodes. My main problem with Rhodes is that the pills seemed inconsistent - some did nothing, some worked so-so, and once in a while I got a pill that was as effective as the Qualitest manufacturer. When I spoke with the jerk in charge of the CVS region he told me that they used Rhodes because Qualitest informed them that they would not have any medication available for about two months. I have no idea if this is true or not, because I also had to hear a lecture from the jerk that I had built up a tolerance to the medication and that my doctor should not have written me a script for 10/325 when CVS had no 7.5/325 in stock and could not/would not tell me when/if they would ever be stocked. Of course the pharmacist at Walgreen's looked me up, down, and back again as well as made sure to advise the tech to "check the central registry". I guess that is the tracking system they use to see if you have filled the same medication elsewhere in the 30 days prior to attempting another refill. I was sitting in a chair a good ways away from the pharmacist but I could still hear her bark this order to the tech. I think she was disappointed that she had no choice but to fill the prescription when I was not on the central registry. I get really sick of this process every time I need to fill a prescription, and I am sure others feel the same way.

I suffer from chronic spinal pain (have had 5 surgeries including two constructs). To date, Percocet 5mg. generic from Qualitest has proven quite effective in managing the pain with few side effects. Well surprise, CVS substituted with Rhodes. Was not aware until I arrived home. Tragically, this brand is ineffective at relieving the pain and the side effects take a serious toll. Have contacted my insurance company - AARP and Neurologist to secure a new script. The problem is trying to secure a generic that is effective. Shame on CVS for selling such an inferior medication. It's called cost-containment.

I ended up calling the main CVS customer service number to report "Mr. Manager" (Sanjay who said his last name so fast I could not understand it) for his poor and condescending attitude. When I picked up my newest prescription today I decided to try Walgreen's for this refill. They carry Actavis in my area, which is not great, but it is better than Rhodes - at least for me. Of course the pharmacist looked me up and down and did not want to tell me which manufacturer they used for the medication but she finally said they use Actavis and she proceeded to tell me that all generics are the same, blah, blah, blah...I also heard her tell the young technician to check the central registry for the prescription - I guess to be sure I had not gotten the same medication elsewhere in the last 30 days. I would not even give them my prescription until she told me what manufacturer they use at the pharmacy. I showed her an old RX bottle and asked her which manufacturer they use. When she got a crappy attitude I told her never mind I would just go to CVS and fill the script there. Right after I said that she decided to look up the brand they carry. So I can deal with this brand as it is better than Rhodes. I found the Rhodes medication to be very inconsistent from pill to pill - some were like taking nothing, others worked okay, and some were just as effective as the Qualitest which CVS used to stock until last month. I have read poor comments about the Qualitest, too, on this website and elsewhere, but of the three brands I have tried they are the most effective for me. Actavis is a poor second, and I hope to never take another pain medication made by Rhodes Pharmacy. The strength I take is generic Percocet 10/325.

Just thought I would post a follow-up regarding my experience with CVS and their Rhodes Pharmacy generic Percocet (my strength is 10/325). I called the main CVS number to lodge a complaint about the effectiveness of this particular brand and the lady with whom I spoke said she could have someone call me regarding the complaint. A man called me on Saturday afternoon around 2:30 PM but I did not answer the phone as I did not recognize the number. He left a voice mail and identified himself as a regional CVS pharmacy manager and asked me to return his call so I did return it earlier today. After my conversation with him I feel like calling the main CVS number to lodge a complaint about him. He did explain that the reason the area CVS stores (Southeast Michigan) are currently using Rhodes instead of Qualitest (which work the best for me) is because Qualitest could not fill the stock order and Rhodes had medication readily available. Then he proceeded to lecture me about the medication, saying that I have been on a narcotic for too long and it is time for my physician to explore other options. I told him there are no other options except possibly going under a knife and I do not want anyone cutting on my spine. I explained to him that I have arthritis in my entire spine as well as degenerative disc disease in all three areas of the spine, and that without medication I feel like someone is twisting a knife in the base of my spine. When I mentioned that my CVS never seemed to have the 7.5/325 which was originally prescribed and that my doctor prescribed the 10/325 as it should be more readily stocked he went into another tirade against my doctor for increasing my dose only because the lower dose was unavailable most of the time when I tried to fill the prescription. I also got the "you have built up a tolerance" lecture and the comment that there are no differences between the Qualitest and the Rhodes medication. He even told me people were requesting Rhodes en lieu of Qualitest - I doubt that since I have not read any positive comments about the Rhodes products. If I could have smacked him through the phone line I certainly would have done so. I am an educated person so I already know that people can build up a tolerance on opiate drugs. That is not the issue. After I took the Rhodes pills for a week I had a bad pain day and decided to take one of the few Qualitest pills I had left from last prescription. It was so strong compared to the Rhodes it was like taking an opiate for the first time. So I told "Mr. Manager" this during our conversation as well. He was very arrogant and condescending, and people like him are the reason I hate to even take a narcotic pain medication. But I also hate feeling like someone is twisting a knife into the base of my spine, so I do my best to put up with this BS.

While in Kroger shopping today I decided to check with their pharmacy regarding which brand they stock for the medication, and they stock Rhodes so no point in trying to fill my next prescription there.

Sorry for the length of this comment, but wanted to provide an update since I first stated that I did not find the Rhodes product to be very effective for pain control.

I called my doctors office and told them I didn't know what was going on with this brand but it does not help my pain and it was giving me severe pains in my stomach and I feel ill and have heartburn and I never get heartburn. Cvs has used so many different brands but I've never experienced this problem. I will not use cvs anymore for my Percocet I just got them filled at Walmart and I actually have pain relief again.

So I've been taking these now for about a month they are horrible they do not help with the pain on in I have degenerative disk disorder with 9 herniation and degenerative hip disorder as well as arthritis in my spine I'm in constant severe pain they do nothing but give me migraines and severe dizziness they do not help with the pain in the least bit!

YES, YES, YES! There are many, many complaints on the internet about RP , RHODES PHARMACEUTICALS. EVERYONE NEEDS TO REPORT THEM TO THE FDA!

I have been taking the Rhodes 10/325 I received from my CVS since I am stuck with them and while I prefer the Qualitest they were stocking I think I am adjusting to the Rhodes a bit more since I have been taking them. But I still do not think they are as effective as the previous brand that my local area CVS had prior to the switch. I have enough problems with filling the prescription as it is so I know they are not going to special order anything else for me. I was taking generic Norco and when they reclassified that medication I went through hell trying to fill the script. After going to almost every pharmacy chain and independent in my area for a couple of weeks I called the doctor's office and he switched me to the 7.5/325 generic Percocet. I had problems with that every month I tried to fill the script as they always said they had none and could not tell me when or if they would get it even if they ordered it. So at my next appointment I told the doctor I was still having problems trying to fill my prescription and he prescribed the 10/325 as he said that should be more readily stocked. I have not had problems filling that particular strength, but I do think that the Rhodes are "weaker " than the Qualitest. I have also had one other brand from Walgreen's (don't remember what brand they carried because it was a over a year ago) and whatever brand they had was not as effective as the Qualitest, so that is why I returned to CVS for my prescriptions. Now I might have to let the doctor know I will probably need to try a different pharmacy if CVS continues to carry and dispense the Rhodes brand. So I really do not think all generics are the same from my limited experience with three different manufacturers of the generic Percocet 10/325.

I'm following up as CVS did replace mine with Actavis. I can't say it is a great replacement but I CAN say it is more effective. Like I said in my previous post that I was fortunate to have 100 of 180 script of the Rhodes Pharmacy in a actual sealed container so CVS did replace mine. Please note 6.78 is actual dose of oxy in Percocet 7.5 the manufacturer bottles display more relevant info than what you get in script packet. So im guessing Rhodes is at 2.8 max of actual from research. Plus at CVS anything outside Rhodes is now considered special order if you don't accept what they stock. You must have ordered. My CVS has known me for many 7 plus years and seen me in all sorts of pain, stitches, braces and know my diagnoses and didn't question my complaint. I go to prescribing doctor in 2 days to tell him what all has happened since now due to Rhodes I took more than I'm prescribed. Office is aware but will have doctor for now on write NO Rhodes on script. I rather pay out of pocket for other brands but my insurance will cover the scripts that work especially since I went off Fentnayl on my own. I am getting a tolerance in general from the 7.5 325/6 day plus they don't last the 8 hrs they are supposed to, it's more like 4 hrs. I will update as I go. And 80mgs is the cutoff with oxycodone. Oxycontin goes higher max daily intake, dont confuse the two cause there's a big difference. Good luck to you all. And always look at the pills before walking away from pharmacy. Ask doctors office to call pharmacy to confirm they want you on anything other than Rhodes or anything else that hasn't worked, if they refuse, time to find new pharmacy. You may have a delay at first when CVS orders, 3 to 4 days for my replacements. Again just try to work it out or find another pharmacy, as long as your not flagged they shouldn't give you a problem. Just like doctors you have a right to what pharmacy meets your needs. Plus to you all thinking this person's naive to the situation, I'm not at all. You name the medicine, I've been on it. You name the situation, been thru it including losing my meds when laws changed and cold turkeyed 1000mgs Norco, 800mg Methadone, 30 mgs Valium, 1050mg SOMA a Day! Now I have tachycardia from it. So I know everyone's pain and ruthless ventures. I hope we'll for all. I too am in a non CBD state or I'd jump on that in a heart beat! Gentle Hugs!
