Rhodes/purdue Buprenorphine Hcl 8mg Rp B8 Vs Roxanne 54 411 (Page 52)
UpdatedI have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are in order of my preferred with not much experience except with brand name:
*roxanne (now westward pharma)- 54 411
*hi tech- 8 ^(arrow)
*mylan- M924
*teva (allergen/activas owned) crooked b 799
*actavis- moon 153
*sun pharma- 460 white round
[And the brand new released generic made by Purdue and distributed by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals the new Rhodes generic]
*RP b8- white round bevelled and pretending edges.
I currently have had a smooth switch to the Roxanne/westward and declined mylan, actavis, teva, hi tech, sun pharma as most research and reviews conclude the Roxanne/westward generics the 54 411 seem to be best reviewed. I was unable to find the Purdue/Rhodes pharma newly released generic RB b8 imprinted generic. All I know is Rhodes and Purdue are professionals in the process of making quality meds and not just quality meds but pain relief medication, as they even were the company to CREATE oxycontin. I was able to come across one image of them on the web and they look very similar to the Roxanne 54 411s in size color and mostly shape except for the rhodes/Purdue ones protrude or kind of pop out on each side beyond the bevelled edges. They look really well made and on one side they have RP and otherside b 8 which the b and 8 are fairly far apart. I have been doing great from switching from brand films to the Roxanne westward 54 411s so far. I'm hoping to get some feedback by next month on these newly released rhodes/Purdue generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg. They are the newest and just released October 2017 and look very shinny and quality made. I'm hoping someone here who has tried both the Roxanne/westward and the new Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8 tablets. I am going to try and have my pharmacy special order the new Rhodes generics made by Purdue again imprinted RP b 8 white round shinny tablets fairly similar to the Roxanne but look better quality imo but do not have much experience with generic just brand and am very well versed on pharma companies and their medicine and their quality each one has.
Has anyone tried these new rhodes/Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8? How would you compare them to the Roxanne 54 411 tablets... I hope for a response or it will be trail and error for me when ordering Rhodes next month if i stay on this route and will see how they compare to the Roxanne/westward but will not be til a month away. Please if you have any experience with these generics and especially the new rhodes/Purdue one let me know. Again I was able to locate only one image of them and they look great. They do not look small like hi tech more like a combined Roxanne and mylan with the shininess and how they pop out on each side..they look a little larger like the mylan and Roxanne not small like hi tech or teva or activas they are round tablet imprints RP b8 with b and 8 fairly far apart. Any feedback would be great and I would want to switch to rhodes/Purdue from roxanne (now westward being a factor) generics as they make quality are new just released and approved this year 2017 of October and no one how even mentioned them yet that I can find. With westward buying out Roxanne and them making changes a new generic made by Purdue may be just the one we have been waiting for and needing..again on the 54 411 ones now and looking for feedback on the new Purdue Rhodes ones and if the switch from Roxanne westward to rhodes/Purdue would be better maybe with better quality as they have always been a great and reputable company who makes outstanding drugs. Any feedback would be great.

Re: Jenb (# 8)
What pharmacy carries this brand I'm looking for a different pharmacy because of what I'm prescribed and that was the 54-411 even written on my electronic script that's sent but I'm from Uniontown pa and my rite-aid pharmacy never gives me what written so I'm looking for a pharmacy that will fill them even the RP I'd take those but they keep telling me they can't order them and I'm not use to having the little 8 MLG with the arrow on them please help me bye finding a pharmacy that does carry the big one's Thankyou appreciate it have a safe and Blessed day
Re: Tim (# 13)
Can you please give me details on pharmacy that will fill the big one's the RP's made bye Rhode and perdue or the Roxane 54-411 no pharmacy in Uniontown pa will fill them here and I can't take the little dosage because I end up needing more than what's prescribed because with the little one's I still feel extremely sick and I hate that filling
Re: Carlie (# 1023)
Walgreens / Duane Reed
Re: Vic (# 1020)
The 54 411’s are not discontinued. They’re just made by West-Ward/Hikma Pharmaceuticals now, who bought Roxane Laboratories.
Re: Davemp88 (# 1025)
Yes but definitely not the same at all at least not for me!!!!
Re: Roxanne Jenkins (# 1021)
I don’t know what you mean by “the rate of bone” but I think I understand when you said you have been on subutex since 2005. I started with suboxone in late 2008 and switched in about 2015 to subutex. I am still on them but I’m winding down…I’m doing 3/4 of the Rhodes, if I can get them from Walgreens ( they are starting to act funny for some reason about filling any subutex )….or I’m doing one whole small Hi-Tech/ Akorn I get from Rite-Aid, because they are too small to break up. So I’ve been on them all together for 14 years now, and I thought I was going to be on them until I pass away, and I still may be, but I am trying to wean myself down. I’m just sick of taking them and I do not feel anything at all from any brand, and I feel like my mind is right to where I will not use again, as I have no temptation or urges anymore. So yeah, if you have to take them forever, so be it. Don’t let anyone tell you what’s best for you. Everyone is on their own Subutex recovery journey…. PS…I have been taking the small ones for a while now (Hi-Tech/Akorn) and I don’t feel any difference between them and the Rhodes. Maybe it’s just me, idk, but thank God for that!
Re: Vic (# 1026)
I think that’s Placebo because if you do the research, Neither Hikma not West-Ward changed Roxane’s formula. They just bought Roxane Laboratories to incorporate as part of their genetics division.
I've been taking Rohds pharmacutical 8 mg orange burenorphine subs and now kind of a very light orange color and haven't had any issues. Much better than any of the 8mg strips offered 6/10/22
Where can I get the 54411s in concord nc or Charlotte NC the cheapest
Re: Goozer (# 5)
They are $58 for 90
Re: Jenb (# 15)
I like my TEVA klonopin as well and I get the Rhodes/Perdue
Have you read articles that buprenorphine can cause trouble to your teeth and teeth falling out!!
Re: Chris (# 2)
I like the b8 it doesn't have a taste
Re: Vic (# 1033)
What I do is take my subutex around midnight, because I found if I waited until the morning when I get up, I talk and eat so the subutex gets wasted basically because my body does not have a chance to absorb the pill. Also I make sure as soon as it’s all melted, I get up and brush my teeth really good and use mouthwash to hopefully help my teeth last longer…
Re: Goozer (# 1)
I take the 54411 regularly and have for about 5 year I refuse to take any of the other brands I don't think they work as well. I'm usually stuffed up and withdrawing by dinnertime especially w the 460s typically dispensed at CVS pharmacy.... I'm going try a RP right now I'll keep u updated
The RP b8 is ok but it's no 54411

Re: Kevin (# 1038)
Hi. RiteAid has the little mini white ones with arrow. They are as good as Rhodes.
Re: Plft (# 1039)
I agree Kevin. Those work for me as well. I tried the others no help for me.
