Rhodes/purdue Buprenorphine Hcl 8mg Rp B8 Vs Roxanne 54 411 (Page 49)

I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are in order of my preferred with not much experience except with brand name:

*roxanne (now westward pharma)- 54 411
*hi tech- 8 ^(arrow)
*mylan- M924
*teva (allergen/activas owned) crooked b 799
*actavis- moon 153
*sun pharma- 460 white round
[And the brand new released generic made by Purdue and distributed by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals the new Rhodes generic]
*RP b8- white round bevelled and pretending edges.

I currently have had a smooth switch to the Roxanne/westward and declined mylan, actavis, teva, hi tech, sun pharma as most research and reviews conclude the Roxanne/westward generics the 54 411 seem to be best reviewed. I was unable to find the Purdue/Rhodes pharma newly released generic RB b8 imprinted generic. All I know is Rhodes and Purdue are professionals in the process of making quality meds and not just quality meds but pain relief medication, as they even were the company to CREATE oxycontin. I was able to come across one image of them on the web and they look very similar to the Roxanne 54 411s in size color and mostly shape except for the rhodes/Purdue ones protrude or kind of pop out on each side beyond the bevelled edges. They look really well made and on one side they have RP and otherside b 8 which the b and 8 are fairly far apart. I have been doing great from switching from brand films to the Roxanne westward 54 411s so far. I'm hoping to get some feedback by next month on these newly released rhodes/Purdue generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg. They are the newest and just released October 2017 and look very shinny and quality made. I'm hoping someone here who has tried both the Roxanne/westward and the new Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8 tablets. I am going to try and have my pharmacy special order the new Rhodes generics made by Purdue again imprinted RP b 8 white round shinny tablets fairly similar to the Roxanne but look better quality imo but do not have much experience with generic just brand and am very well versed on pharma companies and their medicine and their quality each one has.

Has anyone tried these new rhodes/Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8? How would you compare them to the Roxanne 54 411 tablets... I hope for a response or it will be trail and error for me when ordering Rhodes next month if i stay on this route and will see how they compare to the Roxanne/westward but will not be til a month away. Please if you have any experience with these generics and especially the new rhodes/Purdue one let me know. Again I was able to locate only one image of them and they look great. They do not look small like hi tech more like a combined Roxanne and mylan with the shininess and how they pop out on each side..they look a little larger like the mylan and Roxanne not small like hi tech or teva or activas they are round tablet imprints RP b8 with b and 8 fairly far apart. Any feedback would be great and I would want to switch to rhodes/Purdue from roxanne (now westward being a factor) generics as they make quality are new just released and approved this year 2017 of October and no one how even mentioned them yet that I can find. With westward buying out Roxanne and them making changes a new generic made by Purdue may be just the one we have been waiting for and needing..again on the 54 411 ones now and looking for feedback on the new Purdue Rhodes ones and if the switch from Roxanne westward to rhodes/Purdue would be better maybe with better quality as they have always been a great and reputable company who makes outstanding drugs. Any feedback would be great.

Good luck with tampering, I’ve been on bupes for 10 years and the parang ones are the worse...I told my dr recently that I too would like to taper off but I’m having a really hard time doing that

Same. It's a very very long withdrawal. Some people say it isn't as severe as other opiate wd... but I think it's all awful. I seriously wish I could be literally knocked out for a week or more just to get this all out of my system, but it's likely to take longer than that. I am stable and all I want is to live my life without worrying about Dr appts and filling an RX each month (although it's better than trying to find pain medication almost daily to stay well and buying it illegally... years ago and I don't miss anything about it).

I am going to just keep taking it slow. Tapering past a certain point makes me feel terrible all the time. Addiction is a terrible disease. As far as the anxiety goes, I can relate. Sending positive thoughts to everyone dealing with anything like this disease in any capacity. Thank you all for your posts here. Seriously, knowing I'm not the only one helps.??

My husband is down to a half 2 days and quarter the other five and he has started feeling bad. He is moody and sometimes emotional and has started the yawning and sneezing. He is hopeful to quit but I am more skeptical. I still take two a day and he gets mad at me sometimes or ( jealous). I’m just not ready yet. He has been on the subs a lot longer than me. I really hope you guys are successful. I can’t even imagine how great it would be to get out from under all pills for good. I think I’m just scared. Best of luck to you!

Hi, I’ve been on suboxone/ subutex for 13 years and if it takes forever, than that’s what will be. I have cut down to one a day instead of the previous 2, but don’t rush because you know where we will end up...if he needs to go up a little , let him. It would be great to be off everything, but some of us may need for rest of life, just like any other survivable disease you would take meds for. Good luck. You are all in my thoughts.

You are sadly mistaken about the Rhodes/predue
Mylan and Rhodes generics actually caused me to have withdrawal.
The Actavis and Roxanne are the best.

The only one that helps me is the high tech small arrow on one side. I tried the orange one:(, it didn’t like me. I loved Roxanne 54 511 but not anymore it’s not the same and the manufacturer is different. Or pharma?’

I’ve been on subs for about three years now. When I was on suboxone. My favorite generics are sandoz, and Mylan and dr reddy. The alvogen ones(yellow packets) are garbage. Eventually I switched to subutex because every pharmacy in the Syracuse area only carried the yellow ones. At first I received the small ones with an arrow made by Akorn. Those gave me the most euphoric feeling. I switched from wegmans to CVS and was given actavis/Teva the 156 ovals (2mg) and 153 (8mg) this month I got two different brands. The 2mg are the actavis and the 8s are made by Hikma (54 411) in my opinion they are okay. The order I rate them are would be akorn/hikma then the actavis ones

hi I have had pretty much had all I got them 3 days ago in I thought same as you they have to be great because thats company makes oxicotin the others Mylan Roxanne arrow 8 omg nasty BUT RHODES RP B8 IS GREAT ID START WITH HALF THERE VERY STRONG I BEEN ON ACTIVIAIS MOON 153 FOR 3 YEARS .SO GOOD LUCK IN LET. ME KNOW I WAS MEANING TO ASK U U SAID U GET 120. IS THAT PAIN MANAMENT PLZ LET KNOW THANKS BEKKA.

Hi-tech suck. I think RP 8 is just as good as the 54 411. However I started on 54 411 so they are the ones i prefer but i really enjoyed the relief the RP 8 gave for chronic pain. Due to my car wreck needing for dependent is one thing but having to stay out of chronic pain is another. I still prefer 54 411 the best thought. Just my input

I have tried the Rp 8b ones from Rhodes. I'm currently waiting for my next visit cause i found a pharmacy Walgreens in south port in my area that has them in stock. In my opinion they are the best. They are better than the 54411 ones in my opinion. I mean kind of the same but I prefer the Rhodes brand. My doctors nurse was an ass to me cause I called asking if the doc could wrote a new script so I could change pharmacies but have to just wait till my next appointment on Wednesday.

I absolutely love the Rhodes/Purdue generic Buprenorphine!! I felt great taking them! Then my pharmacy switch to Sun Pharma and felt nothing, meaning I started craving and wondering why after so long am I thinking about using again?My Doctor said there are definitely differences between generics!! I changed pharmacies and found the Hikma with the 54 411 on them

Didn’t mean to cut off……I found the Hikma 54 411 and the are much better than the Sun pharma. HOWEVER, hands down my favorite generic Buprenorphine is by far Rhodes with the RP b8 on them. When I take Opiates I get energized and I can go go go go go!!!! . That happened when I took the Rhodes generics. Now I don’t get that energy from the Hikma 54 411. I wish I did though.

Does anyone know how I can order a particular generic Buprenorphine? My local pharmacies said they can only get what is distributed to them. I really want the Rhodes RP b8 like I had before. If you do know of a way to order a specific brand please let me know! Thank you so much!!!

Hi, certain Walgreens have them. You have to check around. I went to one a few months ago and they had the orange ones…then about 8 miles away was another Walgreens that had the Rhodes. They are my favorite also. Why try and give us some crap that don’t work?!??
