Rhodes/purdue Buprenorphine Hcl 8mg Rp B8 Vs Roxanne 54 411 (Page 45)

Updated

I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are in order of my preferred with not much experience except with brand name: *roxanne (now westward pharma)- 54 411 *hi tech- 8 ^(arrow) *mylan- M924 *teva (allergen/activas owned) crooked b 799 *actavis- moon 153 *sun pharma- 460 white round [And the brand new released generic made by Purdue and distributed by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals the new Rhodes generic] *RP b8- white round bevelled and pretending edges. I currently have had a smooth switch to the Roxanne/westward and declined mylan, actavis, teva, hi tech, sun pharma as most research and reviews conclude the Roxanne/westward generics the 54 411 seem to be best reviewed. I was unable to find the Purdue/Rhodes pharma newly released generic RB b8 imprinted generic. All I know is Rhodes and Purdue are professionals in the process of making quality meds and not just quality meds but pain relief medication, as they even were the company to CREATE oxycontin. I was able to come across one image of them on the web and they look very similar to the Roxanne 54 411s in size color and mostly shape except for the rhodes/Purdue ones protrude or kind of pop out on each side beyond the bevelled edges. They look really well made and on one side they have RP and otherside b 8 which the b and 8 are fairly far apart. I have been doing great from switching from brand films to the Roxanne westward 54 411s so far. I'm hoping to get some feedback by next month on these newly released rhodes/Purdue generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg. They are the newest and just released October 2017 and look very shinny and quality made. I'm hoping someone here who has tried both the Roxanne/westward and the new Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8 tablets. I am going to try and have my pharmacy special order the new Rhodes generics made by Purdue again imprinted RP b 8 white round shinny tablets fairly similar to the Roxanne but look better quality imo but do not have much experience with generic just brand and am very well versed on pharma companies and their medicine and their quality each one has. Has anyone tried these new rhodes/Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8? How would you compare them to the Roxanne 54 411 tablets... I hope for a response or it will be trail and error for me when ordering Rhodes next month if i stay on this route and will see how they compare to the Roxanne/westward but will not be til a month away. Please if you have any experience with these generics and especially the new rhodes/Purdue one let me know. Again I was able to locate only one image of them and they look great. They do not look small like hi tech more like a combined Roxanne and mylan with the shininess and how they pop out on each side..they look a little larger like the mylan and Roxanne not small like hi tech or teva or activas they are round tablet imprints RP b8 with b and 8 fairly far apart. Any feedback would be great and I would want to switch to rhodes/Purdue from roxanne (now westward being a factor) generics as they make quality are new just released and approved this year 2017 of October and no one how even mentioned them yet that I can find. With westward buying out Roxanne and them making changes a new generic made by Purdue may be just the one we have been waiting for and needing..again on the 54 411 ones now and looking for feedback on the new Purdue Rhodes ones and if the switch from Roxanne westward to rhodes/Purdue would be better maybe with better quality as they have always been a great and reputable company who makes outstanding drugs. Any feedback would be great.

I'm was on the 54 411s and recently the pharmacy I use switched to the rp b8s in my opinion thére not even close to the 54 411s we're as if I started feeling sick during the day I could throw a quarter of a 54 411 in and be ok til I got home but the rp I find myself needing a whole and not only that I don't feel às if they làst as long as the others either I don't like them at all but that's just my opinion and I'm now kinda stuck with em

Yes I have tried the new Rhodes RP b8 since Westward bought out Roxanne I have not been able to find the 54 411 anywhere those are by far the very best out there that I've ever tried and I've tried almost all of them. They are harsher to do and do not give u the up beat feel I was used to with the Roxanne. In my opinion they are not as strong / potent.

They're not the worst. I hear a lot of people like them. I have been on the 54 411s for a little over a year until my pharmacy switched suppliers and now am on the rp b8s. A lot of people like them. I personally like the 54 411s bette.r I feel they last me a little longer, and instead of just doing my normal morning dose of one 54 411 I'm having to do another in the afternoon with the rp b8s. Could just be in my head but that's just my opinion. Good luck

Re: JSW (# 884) Expand Referenced Message

I are absolutely correct!! The roxannes 54 411 were the best! My opinion now I use the small high tech w the arrow on it. They are small they help but wear out faster. Drs need to leave well enough alone! It’s the fda! People are so
Weird anymore!!! Be well be safe

You can't put in your preferred brand as in manufacturer. You can put you want the regular or generics, but subutex only has generics now. I'm getting 60 8's a month for 45 dollars right now thanks to GoodRx.

I was on the orange football shaped ones that tasted orange and I liked them but now I get the Rhodes. They are ok but taste horrible and I think they aren’t as strong as the orange ones. But they keep me off craps and I haven’t been dope-sick in 11 years, thank god. I have commented a long time ago. Also wanted to mention I’m dreading the day I have to get off these things as I’ve been on suboxone then subutex for 11 years, and I know you have to taper off, but still a terrifying thought. Also I wanted to ask if anyone had any experience with tapering off Xanax? I kicked them cold turkey one time and it was way worse than the over 20 times I’ve kicked H cold turkey. Felt like I was losing my mind. If anyone can relate or advise, please holler back. Thank you.

Re: PLFT (# 890) Expand Referenced Message

Man I hated the Oarange ones always felt like they spaced me out really bad and made me confused, I’ve never been hooked on Xanax but I’ve taken them way too many times to not know better to anymore, so I’ve never had to deal with being chemically dependent on them but a friend of mine told me about thrive and how it helped him during withdrawal from pain pills, I know there’s a big difference between Xanax and pain pills but maybe it’ll help, if not I’m sure there are other support threads that other people in similar situations share what helped them while getting off Xanax, either way good luck

Re: PLFT (# 890) Expand Referenced Message

YOU CAN DIE from benzo withdrawals if you don’t taper I’ve done it many times, it always sucks, I’ve tapered off 3 mg Alprazolam after 3years use and I did it over a month or two, but my best advice is just take enough not to feel sick and don’t drop too quick, I’ve done it in a week before but it was much worse and with drawl symptoms lasted weeks, no sleep, hot sweat, hallucinations

Re: Kristen (# 893) Expand Referenced Message

Yes that’s where I’ve been going for 11 years. They switched me from orange footballs to Rhodes with b8/ RP on them. They also just changed me from the yellow Xanax bars to white xanax bars...weird.

My preference has always been Westwood or Roxan. They switched me last month (just the 8mg tablets) to Sun 460. At first ok. Then slowly started experiencing some bad feelings. Cravings. Almost due for my next script. Hope they can get in something that is same size round or even oval. I don’t care what shape but don’t like the tiny 8mg ones. They dissolve too fast!! Efficacy is bad. They need to dissolve slow for to work correctly. But my anxiety is up too. Don’t know what to do. Was on the 54-411 for years abd family pharmacy I use is good at helping me.

I was on the orange footballs and they changed me to Rhodes. They taste bad, but dissolve slowly and seem to work fine for me. Maybe see if they can give you them. Good luck!

Re: Kristen (# 893) Expand Referenced Message

Walgreens does carry Rhodes. Well, the distributor they use carries them. I have been getting Rhodes from a Walgreens near me in RI. You might have to call around or ask a store if they can order them for you.

Re: Sinner85 (# 891) Expand Referenced Message

The orange ones are activis brand. They are a off shoot of TEVA. Unfortunately TEVA decided back in 2015 to discontinue their version of generic subutex which was AWESOME! and released this inferior version under their activis sister company. TEVA'S old generic was identical to the name brand subutex and quality was top notch as well. Nothing around today is even close to those TEVAs or the brand name subutex. Rhodes is decent but I wouldn't rave about them... Unfortunately the poor quality of all the other generics avaliable right now makes a decent quality brand like Rhodes look great. I've tried all the brands from the past and whats available now and I saw the old Roxanne which were good years ago just turn into something totally different under their new manufacturer hikima/ west ward and its no good anymore imo. Activis is full of fillers and isn't that great quality also I don't like the orange flavor crop, mylan= GARBAGE, Sun= TRASH, Hi-Tech is OK quality but underdosed.
