Rhodes/purdue Buprenorphine Hcl 8mg Rp B8 Vs Roxanne 54 411 (Page 30)

Updated

I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are in order of my preferred with not much experience except with brand name: *roxanne (now westward pharma)- 54 411 *hi tech- 8 ^(arrow) *mylan- M924 *teva (allergen/activas owned) crooked b 799 *actavis- moon 153 *sun pharma- 460 white round [And the brand new released generic made by Purdue and distributed by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals the new Rhodes generic] *RP b8- white round bevelled and pretending edges. I currently have had a smooth switch to the Roxanne/westward and declined mylan, actavis, teva, hi tech, sun pharma as most research and reviews conclude the Roxanne/westward generics the 54 411 seem to be best reviewed. I was unable to find the Purdue/Rhodes pharma newly released generic RB b8 imprinted generic. All I know is Rhodes and Purdue are professionals in the process of making quality meds and not just quality meds but pain relief medication, as they even were the company to CREATE oxycontin. I was able to come across one image of them on the web and they look very similar to the Roxanne 54 411s in size color and mostly shape except for the rhodes/Purdue ones protrude or kind of pop out on each side beyond the bevelled edges. They look really well made and on one side they have RP and otherside b 8 which the b and 8 are fairly far apart. I have been doing great from switching from brand films to the Roxanne westward 54 411s so far. I'm hoping to get some feedback by next month on these newly released rhodes/Purdue generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg. They are the newest and just released October 2017 and look very shinny and quality made. I'm hoping someone here who has tried both the Roxanne/westward and the new Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8 tablets. I am going to try and have my pharmacy special order the new Rhodes generics made by Purdue again imprinted RP b 8 white round shinny tablets fairly similar to the Roxanne but look better quality imo but do not have much experience with generic just brand and am very well versed on pharma companies and their medicine and their quality each one has. Has anyone tried these new rhodes/Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8? How would you compare them to the Roxanne 54 411 tablets... I hope for a response or it will be trail and error for me when ordering Rhodes next month if i stay on this route and will see how they compare to the Roxanne/westward but will not be til a month away. Please if you have any experience with these generics and especially the new rhodes/Purdue one let me know. Again I was able to locate only one image of them and they look great. They do not look small like hi tech more like a combined Roxanne and mylan with the shininess and how they pop out on each side..they look a little larger like the mylan and Roxanne not small like hi tech or teva or activas they are round tablet imprints RP b8 with b and 8 fairly far apart. Any feedback would be great and I would want to switch to rhodes/Purdue from roxanne (now westward being a factor) generics as they make quality are new just released and approved this year 2017 of October and no one how even mentioned them yet that I can find. With westward buying out Roxanne and them making changes a new generic made by Purdue may be just the one we have been waiting for and needing..again on the 54 411 ones now and looking for feedback on the new Purdue Rhodes ones and if the switch from Roxanne westward to rhodes/Purdue would be better maybe with better quality as they have always been a great and reputable company who makes outstanding drugs. Any feedback would be great.

Re: Tim (# 575) Expand Referenced Message

Mylan is not available. I have never taken this brand but I have called them. They sent me mail and said just that. Not available... I was trying to help a friend out. The reason I called is because she was going through withdrawal and was very weak. So I could be wrong about this. But by reading different medschat groups I still hear them saying they still can't get this brand. I believe they are not selling it for some reason.

Re: Bobby (# 573) Expand Referenced Message

Same with my adderall its spring and again they are on backorder, now not all of them. I take two 20mgs..I had to ask my doctor to rewrite the script for me..Walgreens have not had the 20mg of adderall for a while now, but they do have the 10s and 30s. Just they said they don't know when they will be in. Just keep checking

Re: Tim (# 572) Expand Referenced Message

I'm in Florida to southwest Florida, I can't find Rhodes anywhere near and they used to..I have not had trouble so far with westward/ hikma, god forbid I hope not. Because I don't like any of the other ones. It seem like they want us going back to our pill of choice..first it's an opioid epidemic, now it a buprenorphine epidemic, we are like an animal on a hunt calling every pharmacy around..we should've have to do this.

Re: Tim (# 570) Expand Referenced Message

So damn what are we supposed to do? Go back to our pill of choice?..taking away the only two generics that actually work. I'll be damned , I will not take any other generic out there other than Rhodes or hikma, I will go back to my percocet 10s than take the other junk brands we have .

Re: Bobby (# 577) Expand Referenced Message

Hello everyone. Just to set the record straight, white/round/ 54-411’s were made by Roxanne. They sold out to West-ward, then sold out again and are now made by Hikma.

Rhodes is the best subutex hands down. You can take half the dose and get down off it easy if you're committed to stopping all together...

Re: Charlene (# 587) Expand Referenced Message

always nice to get the manufacturer bottles. sometimes they forget to take the price stickers off and you can see how expensive a 30 qty bottle is..around $8 bucks..seriously messed when they charge us like 100,000 % more than that. but as is the industry. i tried to get sun oharma zofran generics today and the insurance denied me saying they cost to much an the pharmacy wanted to charge me $60 to order them, i was like no way sun is not worth that for just ondanestron 4mg odt.. just goes to show how messed the industry is. sandoz is discontinued but they were even less expensive but were way better than sun zofran. but ya rhodes will be back soon same with actives (watson) carisoprodol (soma) soon. soma in end of may so soon and rhodes in august

ya rhodes is triple potency than any other generic and is identical to brand name ingredients active and inactive. teva pg comes close but is very hard to find

Re: Charlene (# 583) Expand Referenced Message

Yes. I'm not sure if purdue agended this to happen or if they just underestimated the demand but knowingly being aware about the opioid epidemic and knowing they are the best quality manufactuer of medicene out there they have had to known.. But anyways they will be back in august claims the wholesalers so hopefully purdue is working on some fresh nice new tablets for us and hopefully doesnt raise the price on us. U can "Short date" order them which means have the pharmacist contact the wholersaler to contact purdue or contact purdue directly to order "Short dated" tablets which are leftovers and soon to be expired tablets so you can still get them but may be very pricey or your pharmacist just will refuse but they will be back for us in august.

Re: Charlene (# 580) Expand Referenced Message

That is messed up the fda issued a statement stating that doctors cannot rx you benzo if on opioids. They just have to warn you, you tell the doctors this charlene and have the fda statement pulled upped or printed out for them. Worst they can do is still say no and then u move onward to another doctor and keep trying. Do not give up, if u need it u need it.

Re: goozer (# 589) Expand Referenced Message

Hey goozer you seem to stay in the loop with all the generics and the shortage crisis that seems to be devastating us all, any news on when the rhoades Purdue will be available, I’m stuck with hi tech which didn’t seem to bad at first but now they just suck, I still have a few 54 411 that I managed to put up still in manufacturing bottle but after reading these threads I went back to look and see that they aren’t the Roxanne’s I was getting but the himka instead, so I popped the seal and tried one and not very impressed to say the least. I get my prescription in a few days and was hoping I’d have a chance to get the rp b8. What do you think?

Sinner85 (# 590) --

I'm so sorry to hear about your situation right now. I'm currently driving and I will message you a much bigger thread here in a little bit but if you are really desperate you can short date order in some roads because they are out of stock and short day order means that your pharmacist would call purdue and/or rhodes or have their wholesaler call the manufacturer to order short dated pills which are excess old tablets that expire within the year. Most pharmacists will not but if u are informed I'd talk to the pharmacy with a Stern but positive aggressive tone and know what you're talking about you could probably get your pharmacist a short day order use and tablets but they may cost you out of pocket a little bit but roads are of a stock Intel August I believe I'm not sure if it's beginning or the end of the month but we should be seen them back by August again. I will message you in much larger thread with more information once I get home.

Where are you from and how do you get three bottles a month? I’d love to know so I could also.

Bobby (# 592) --

She gets 3 bottles per month because each bottle contains 30 tablets and she is prescribed 90 tablets and her pharmacy so happens to be nice and give her the manufactures bottle. Instead of switching to a pharmaceutical Orange bottle the pharmacy just gets her sealed bottles and if she's prescribed 90 when they have to give her 3 sealed bottles of 30 tablets because they only come in thirtys and a 100 and up etc.

Re: Goozer (# 594) Expand Referenced Message

Hey, I'm not the Bobby that just asked about the 3 bottle of pills. Who told you Rhodes was going to be out till August? I was told last month that end of May but it's never what they say. I emailed Rhodes 2 times and they never got back to me which is rude. I've emailed Pharmaceutical companies before and they always respond. I was on rhodes for 7 months till this past month and I ended up with hi tech because I wasn't able to wait for CVS to order hikima because they take forever to order things. I had a s***ty month and I'll try that short order thing you were taking about but the mom and pop Pharmacy I have been using is still kind of new to me and they will probably not do that for me. I used to be friends with my old pharmacist at Target years ago and he would order me anything I wanted and push stuff though. I hope Rhodes gets back soon because I've been trying to build a relationship with this mom a pop and they only will order hi-tech other than Rhodes for some reason so if they gone for long I'm going to have to go somewhere else again or find another new Pharmacy. This is an endless pain in the ass. Every year these meds go on backorder.

Re: Bobby (# 597) Expand Referenced Message

I just got off the phone with Rhodes they stated they are hoping for the end of August and to check back and there is no in inventory for even short dated orders so no go there we will have to wait til end of August. Literally just got off phone with em

Hey, back again. So I need everyone’s opinions. HIKMA 54/411’s or Rhodes/Perdue - which is better? I was stuck on Roxanne’s but they sold out twice now Hikma owns it and they have changed them. They definitely don’t feel like the Roxanne’s. And I’m humbled cause Roxanne’s were my top choice. I had no pain and I always felt good. Now it's just a blah mood! I hate feeling like crap all the time. I’ve tried every generic out there and I’m on Hikma now. I need your thought and opinions please, GOOZER HELP ME OUT MAN!
