Rheumy Wants Me To See Psychiatrist For Review Of Pain Meds?know Why??

Chronic pain patient since 1990 hit by drunk driver, have all sorts of verified records of physical issues plus recently verified (x3) by certified pain management doc for valid reasons to be on pain meds/group of meds to control pain
See rheumy for pain management but wants me to see a psychiatrist to review all my meds-says needs to be done due to new laws.
