hi i am taing eltroxine past 2 yaears for thyroid? but even now my periods are irregular? so i am taking regestrone every month? will it affect my upcomming days? please suggest.

From what I was able to gather Regestrone is a product of India. The reported active ingredient in Regestrone is Norethindrone; which is used to treat premenstrual syndrome, painful periods, abnormal heavy bleeding, irregular periods, menopausal syndrome (in combination with oestrogen), or to postpone a period.

Common side effects while taking this drug include:
changes in menstrual period, such as: spotting, or missed periods, light headedness, drowsiness, headaches, possible fevering, hot flashes, stomach ache, nausea, stomach pain, difficulty sleeping, weight loss or gain, and feeling weak.

Hi i'm Radha,25y old,i'm i'm going to marr wih in 6mnths, i'm suffering with irregular periods(pcos) from past 6ye,my Dr...suggested to use tab:daina35, tab:regstron 5mg,..but no use,whn i take madiecine thn only i get periods,otherwise not.......may i get pregnency with in year? PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZHELP MEEEE

Hi M taking regestrone last from 15days 1pil a day to delay my periods no weakness as such no stomach main noting but lil weight gain problem m facing body has swelling n stomach has came out I hope it is only 4 d short period of time after my periods my weight n stomach wil get normal ?? Now I still have to continue taking pills 4 a week d day i stop pills will i get my periods in 2 days ????

Hiii I am 27... I had taken registerone for 6 days to delay my periods... After that I have got my periods... After that in 15 days my periods again came... After clearing my periods again came within 15 days.. I consulted to a doctor..she advised me for sono graphy.. After watching my report she told me that I have endo metriosis.. that's y my periods are coming very frequently... I want to know that whether this problem of frequent menses is due to registerone or due to endo metriosis.....?pls answer... I m very much tensed..

Why don't you try yoga or pranic healing....??
Either of them are sufficient to solve your problem..

It's not because of that tablet bcoz personally I've used that thrice so far n many of my colleagues used..
It could b bcoz of endo metriosis..
In addition to the regular medicine practice yoga n take the help of pranic healers ( india or abroad )

Hi all,

I am 26yrs my name is Veda while I was recently diagnosed for PCOS & Hyperthyroid, My periods are irregular(DELAYED by 3/4months) since past 5 Years after trying all types of medication such as Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Allopathy, harsh diet & exercise regime. I went on Regestrone 2 years back on my doctors advice, which helped me initially but eventually my periods are again delayed unless induced by regestrone.

Now that I am with PCOS+HYPERTHYROID started with Ayurvedic medication(Intense diet) since 4 months Unable to see any improvements on my menstrual cycle or PCOS.

Could anyone please help me to understand what could be my preferential steps to get ready to get married soon in coming year?
