Real Vs Fake Yellow 2mg Xanax

I'm prescribed xanax. Mine is like a bright yellow, with the symbol looking like a cancer flag. My friend has one where it nearly can pull off a cancer symbol but the odd thing to me the yellow is light kind of like beige. The R309 is also I printed on. And his pills are also thicker. I could post pictures if it's legal but every place I've checked, doesn't give info. Some say yes. Some no. To me the wrong color. The thickness and symbol throw me off. Any help would be great. And like I said I could send pics if allowed. Thank you all

You mentioned that your friend's alprazolam tablet was thicker than yours. From what I've researched, the approximate size of the pill is listed at 14.00 millimeters... I don't know if you can use that information to help determine which of your two pills are real. But I should also note that the real yellow xanax bars are marked with R|0|3|9 as opposed to "R309".

Different images online also represent it as being both light yellow or a bright darker yellow, but in my opinion, the imprint itself doesn't lie.

Additionally, you can look up the pill's National Drug Code (00228-2039) for verification.

If u ever cannot find identify a pill you can call any pharmacy and ask them what it is and they will tell you exactly what it is and you don't have to tell them your name or if you have a script or how you came about having them in your possession. You can just simply say I found a few of these pills in my medicine cabinet and the label on the bottle is too worn off to read can you tell me what this is and you will get your answer.

I have a 2mg yellow bar it has the r|0|3|9 it concerns me due to the fact that it doesn't appear to work as prescribed.

Let it dissolve and wait to tell if you get the taste at the end that nasty taste then eat something also so it gets digested

Yes I have those same 2mg yellow ones from my latest refill. They don't taste like real Xanx and they don't feel like regular Xanax.

I have some in my possession r 039 and I've took two bars and I have a head change but nothing like I should be feel feeling. Lately they've all been do sketchy like the ones that say xanax unless you know they came from a pharmacy I wouldn't trust it.

There are two different kinds of Xanax 2 mg they only differ in color. There are with ones and yellow ones. They are simply made by a different manufacturer.

I had one, like u said, that had xanax on one said and the number 2 on the other side. I took one and it made me where I could not move. Felt thirsty, and I couldn't talk or move to get water. I suspect it is a bad batch because 2mg xanax never had those effects on me. I flushed the remainder of my prescription.

You can tell by the way it tastes. If it has a chalky taste then it's fake but if it tastes unpleasant then it's real.

That's not always true. I've had some refills that didn't taste bitter at all. But the lettering and look of it was perfect. Maybe a little too dark a shade of yellow. That refill from the pharmacy was very good. I know most taste bitter and that's a good sign, but sometimes they don't have to be from my experience.

Take your yellow Xanax and touch it with your tough - If the pill absorbs and becomes darker, it’s not from a pharmaceutical company. Although it may still contain alprazolam, it’s not from a pharmacy. Real R039 should not change colors when h20 (water) touches it.

There is no r309 xanax. It's r039. The light yellow ones are real. I get them from a real licensed pharmacy. If you're not going this route, they are likely counterfeit.

David...thank you! U pointing out that the letter or digits will be separated by the vertical lines. The lines are obviously to divide the 2mg into four .5mg. I HATE,.HAATTEE AND HAAATTTEEE the pressed bars!!! ALL OF.THESE MEDS NEED TO STAY PHARM GRADE RX!

Oh, if it was a prescription then you're fine. That's brand name xanax. You just got the real deal so it was stronger. According to the DEA, generics have a window of only putting 80-100% alprazolam. Brand names don't. They HAVE to put 100%. Instead of flushing you should have brought it back to the pharm & told them what was wrong.

Got my rx filled with yellow tablets, tasted like alprazolam and dissolved in water, and I don't feel em right. I have many many disorders and I try hard to keep from taking more than I need. Doesn’t feel right - tastes right, thicker tablets, darker yellow.

I have a few doctors but not one that treats me using effective treatment, only useless (less than 5% that my Dr won’t use medication except suboxone). I’m going to listen to the lady from therapy, I’ve been to 3 and prescribed many controlled substances. Rehabs, doctors, college, work, church, therapy.

How do you do everything that they ever wanted as far as in rehab and meetings for years and doing what they say and trying out medications that either keep things the same with side effects or make them much worse. I may get another doctor. One will help even my other doctor says it’s not working. I function very highly but I need someone to trust me. If I would’ve had that 10 years ago my life would be very different, but am restricted because other people manipulate their situation with no intent on changing.

I know exactly what your talking about. I get a script of 2 mg xanax. This time the pharmacy had the yellow ones printed with the r.... Same numbers as yours and then my friend came to me asking if hers are real saying they did nothing to her. They sure can pass as real but they're not. I’m from springfield mass. Some people don’t care and will do anything for a quick buck and don’t care about robbing you. What sucks for these dealers is the wrong person is going to take one and die and the dealer will spend the rest of his life behind bars for killing someone.

But the metal bars in prison sure will be real. My advice is be careful. Check them carefully. If there very square and thick and the yellow is off do not take them. Unless your an expert your not gonna know until you take one and either it does nothing to you or you die from poison or benzo’s withdrawal. The color is not the same. It’s a lighter yellow than the real ones. There definitely close, but close doesn’t make them real. My friend said I took some hoping they’d work lol. She can hope until the cows come home. She’ll be in benzo’s withdrawals faster than she realizes. The placebo effect isn’t gonna trick your brain into not becoming benzo’s sick, possibly leading to seizures and or death. Go to the dr, be truthful and hopefully the dr can accommodate. A good doctor will at least put you on some to slowly bring you down and wean you off properly.

My doctor is the best. He told me years ago as long as I’m always honest with him he’ll never throw me out. He’s been a lifesaver to me as I’ve been battling addiction for many years to opioids and with his help and understanding I’ve been clean and on suboxone for quite some time now.
Being honest is the only way you’ll be sure to get real medication and with your doctor knowing you’ve been taking them he should at least help you ween off them correctly, if not give you a script of your own if you need them for severe anxiety like myself.

People have presses that they fill pills with god knows what for a quick buck not cool. My friend karma will soon meet up and everyone else who thinks there cool because they can rob someone. News flash anyone can rob anyone. The difference is a good person who cares about his friends or customs will never ever put their life in danger. You never know what someone is allergic to and the counterfeit ones are also thicker and more square. The real ones are not as squared off around the corners. And are not the same color yellow and the real ones are thinner. The counterfeit ones also are extremely hard when you crush them but once they're crushed they break up crumbly.

If it was from an actual pharmacy then they’re real. Pharmacy can’t give you fake medication. That’s common sense. I think at least.

There are more than just 2 different kinds. There's. Two different white ones, yellow ones, green ones and pink ones. But, even the pressed ones coming from China sometimes have alprazolam in them. They're easy to spot. They always have very sharp corners and are much thicker. The real ones are rounded on the corners and pretty thin. I got a fake one last night and it had alprazolam in it. I could taste it and it did the job. But, I think it had maybe 1.5 mg in it. And as far as the brand name having 100% of the drug is completely false, all drugs at allowed to vary a certain percentage higher or lower than the actual dose to make the blood concentration to an optimal level, because certain binders can make it harder for your body to absorb, so name brand Xanax have no more or no less than generic per se, in actuality it could have less it just might be missing a proprietary binder of another manufacturer or it could be made using different solvents or anything bc we all know that we all like a certain brand better than others that's bc they probably make it with a different process that makes it absorb better in our systems

I had been on xanax for 15 years at 2mg bars taking 4 a day. Withdrawing from those brought me to ICU literally felt like death was my only hope to escape from my nightmare! I did quit and swore I'd NEVER take another one! For the past 6 years I've been on a very low dose of diazepam and I get through the panic attacks, they're not fast acting as a xanax but do help. Recently, I ended up in ICU for 9 days, they refused to give me my meds, also chronic pain medication after an accident that required multiple surgeries and all they can do now is try to get through the day. So, that's a bit of my background that brought me to xanax! Someone stole my belongings from my closet in the room! I reported it explaining that my cash, credit cards, banking info, all my monthly meds! Not just benzo n pain meds but bpressure, cholesterol, thyroid and many more! Needless to say I was just devastated n didn't know what to do. After seeing my dr. With hospital and police report they not only refused to call more in, he then informed me no more benzo at all or pain meds! 20 Years! I did something I can't believe I'd ever do! Bought pain meds, xanax too, no one had diazepam:( but I'm in this forum because I need advice! I've taken 5 bars yellow R039 with not much relief, then i read about tadting it after u break it to check the taste and I did that. Still, not as bitter as it used to be. I'm just concerned it's not real! It definitely looks like the ones I've taken in the past yet doesn't seem to help at all! Could they be fake? The color n markings are identical yet the effect and taste isn't like the ones I've taken in the past! Not sure if I should go to ER or wait it out...sigh!
