what time of day is correct to take my ramipril, night or morning one chemist advices morning yet another chemist advices night time as that is when we make most cholestrol ## Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor, it used to treat high blood pressure, and to treat or prevent cardiac conditions and stroke, however, it has no effect on cholesterol levels. Some people prefer to take it at night, due the side effects it can cause, such as: dizziness, drowsiness and headache. But others prefer to take it in the morning, as they feel they get better blood pressure control or better heart beat control throughout the day. Have you tried asking your doctor what they advise?
