pyridium 200mg and cipro 250 not working...

I went to the emergency clinic and determined I have severe UTI. I was prescribed phenazopyridine 200mg and cipro 250mg for a three day treatment. I'm just I tie day two and I am absolutely miserable. Painful and requiring urinantion. I do t know what else to do as I'm exhausted and in severe discomfort... ## Hello, Megan! How are you? Has there been any change? I'm sorry that you're so miserable! The usual antibiotic used for UTIs is Nitrofurantoin, however, it may not have been appropriate for the bacteria they found causing your infection. The typical antibiotic side effects, as reported by the FDA, may possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Has the Phenazopyridine helped, at all?

viginal itchiness

Hi doctor I'm having a big problem with my vigina its so itchy and I've got unbearable abdominal pains I did consult my gynae he said I have uterus infection and prescribed Antibiotics but now the problem doesn't go away. I also noticed that I have white discharge and my vigina is red! What could be wrong here Thanks ## Hello, Zimmie! How are you? Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you I went to the chemist and they prescribed Canex V, Probiotics and Pyridium but I've noticed this me...

brown pill ## Based on the description provided, I found your pill to be Pyridium (100 mg); which is a trade name for the generic drug Phenazopyridine. NOTE: this pill is indicated to be purple and not brown in the drug databases. Phenazopyridine is prescribed for its local analgesic effects on the urinary tract. It is typically used in conjunction with an antibiotic when treating a urinary tract infection. You can view a detailed description of the drug, by clicking on the link below... If you have any more questions or comments to add, please post back so I can further assist you.
