Verwon Says:If there are no markings, it will most likely be difficult to narrow down what it contains.
We can rule it out as being a U.S. approved and manufactured prescription product, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification.
The greatest likelihood is that it's something available over the counter.
However, there is also a chance that it could be something specially done by a compounding pharmacy, since they also use blank capsules, or it could be a foreign medication.
Does anyone else recognize this capsule?

Dee Says:The half white have purple capsule is somnapure pm it is bromelain and melatonin its a sleep formula and its over the counter by peak life. Thats the one I have, they may have other manufactures I don't know.

Half purple half white capsule with no markings can be anything. Stop trying to identify it. It's a Chinese common capsule anyone can buy and fill with whatever.

Anyone have a picture? I found several half purple, half white (with a bit of a yellowish tint) no markings, in my cousin's room. I know he was in Mexico recently.
Would opening one help identify it?
Any help is appreciated.

it took my hip pain away but experienced extreme tightness in my leg joints was usually hard to walk with it. not trying it again

LNMD Says:I bought an antibiotic that is 1/2 purple 1/2 white in Mexico 1 week ago. It was a pack of 9 Azithromycin 500 mg capsules. It will treat up to 3 infections that are bacterial but you should be diagnosed first from a doc before taking it to be sure you need it. My bottle has a lot number, pharm registration number, and expiration date on it.

I have capsules that are a dark purple and about 1/3 is white. It is diltiazem - 180 mg. (No markings) - it is a heart medication to slow my heart rate slightly ( my heart rate is about 105-110) and I take it WITH Digoxin .25 (a small white pill)
