Will this show in a urinalysis? I have been taking 30mg tablets 2 at a time for 2 days 3 times a day and have a urinanalysis in the morning ## Pseudoephedrine itself is not something that's included in a standard urinalysis, but it has been known to cause false positives for Amphetamines. Learn more Pseudoephedrine details here. You may want to inform them that you were taking it, when you go in for testing. Is there anything else I can help with?

My wife gave my 11 y.o. son a Mucinex DM tablet withj 60 mg pseudoephedrine HCL. I was not aware of this and gave him 2 tsp of Children's Sudafed, which has an additional 30 mg. Should we be worried about the total of 90 mg's? ## Is he okay? Did he show any signs of ill effects? That is a high dosage for a child his age, the usual dosage for children 6 to 11 is just 30mgs every 6 hours, to a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours. Learn more Pseudoephedrine details here.

Found it in my medicine cabinet in an unidentified Rx bottle. Probably a pain med for use post surgery that I was sure I'd remember it's use but don't. ## I can't find a tablet with the CYP 273 marking, however, I have found several that are close and could be seen as CYP 273 if the imprint isn't very clear, or if you're having trouble seeing it. All of them are different doses of a cold remedy that contain Pseudoephedrine and Guaifenesin. Learn more Pseudoephedrine details here. Learn more Guaifenesin details here. Were you ever prescribed such a thing? If not, let me know and I'll keep hunting for other possibilities.

I agreed to a blood test from sherriff in hope it would prove that I was clean from heroin but I was taking phsudafed will this test show up poss for meth and at what levels. I am concerned because I had been taking it for over a month ## Pseudoephedrine is commonly known to cause false positives for amphetamines (speed), but the detection levels can vary -pretty much if it's in your system, then it's in your system. The vast majority of blood tests can only detect drugs up to 10 days, however, most drugs are out of the blood stream in much less time than that. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables while staying hydrated throughout the day will significantly help your body detox quicker (blood, kidneys, liver, etc). Besides getting plenty of rest each night I'd also recomme...

Regarding the pill description you provided, I can't locate any specific details on it's existence; quite possibly due to it being a foreign pill (made outside of the US). One would essentially have to determine though if the description of the pill matches Acetaminophen...

Where can I buy it in the Washington, DC area? ## I'm assuming you mean Dristan, which is used to treat sinus issues, such as colds and allergies? If so, most formulations of it contain Pseudoephedrine, so you have to ask for it at a pharmacy counter and show your identification and sign for the purchase. It does not, however, require a prescription.

i have sinus problem and have been taking fedac since the past 1 year ++, recently my sinus has gotten worse and i have to take fedac, maximum a pill for 2 days. Will fedac affect my health in the future or at least can someone tell me the effects (long/short term) of fedac to health? ## Have you consulted your doctor? Fedac contains the active ingredients Tripolidine and Pseudoephedrine and there are two possible reasons for your problem. The first could be due to the fact that when you take something for so long, in the same dosage, your body will eventually get used to it and it will not longer be as effective, so you may need to adjust the dosage or use a different medication. The second could be a rebound type effect that can happen, when you take something like this for such a lon...
