I was prescribed provera to bring on my period. It has been 8 days since my last pill & I haven't gotten a period. How long does it take to get a period? If I am in menopause can it be that I won't get a period?

when i was given a scrip for provera 10mg for ten days, within 3-4 days of stopping the drug after my last tablet it brought on my menses. I would go back to the MD who wrote you the scrip with your concerns and see what else might be done about the situation, as you mentioned you might be in menopause, then it only makes sense that your hormones have shifted, so a period might be unlikely
