Is the vitamin (NDC# 44946-1045-01) Pnv Prenatal 27-1 Mg the same as (NDC# 69543-0258-10) Preplus 27-1 Mg? ## Unfortunately I haven't been able to locate any information on the second NDC # that was provided. However, the first National Drug Code of 44946-1045 is in fact associated with Pnv Prenatal Plus Multivitamins... If it's of any help though, the NDC of 76439-258 just so happens to be another National Drug Code associated with Preplus 27-1. When you click on the highlighted NDC links (above) it will direct you to a page with more specific details for that particular supplement/medication. Upon doing so, you'll be able to see that both the active & inactive ingredients are conveniently listed for comparison. Hope this helps!

I was prescribed prenatal plus tablet by my doc. I am ttc after the loss of my baby in feb. I've read the previous posts where it is explained what vitiams it contains. I've looked it up and that is when you are taking 4 pills. My doc prescribed it for a quantity of 100 but the pharmasist said they can only do 30 a month. So is this prenatal suppose to be taken as 1 or 4 pills a day? I just want to make sure that i am getting the appropriate amounts. ## Hi Sara, The dosage guidelines for Prenatal Plus Indicate that: As a dietary adjunct before, during and after pregnancy, take one tablet daily with a meal, or as directed by a physician. I would suggest following these guidelines unless you are instructed to do otherwise by your doctor. I strongly believe that with an abundance o...

does akyma prenatal plus have gelatin, if so what is the source? is there any multi vitamin that does not contain any animal products? thanks ## @latif, Based on my research, Akyma (also known as Amneal) Pharmaceuticals discontinued their prenatal plus tablets some time ago. However I did come across a list of inactive ingredients and apparently it does contain gelatin sourced from porcine, which is pork. You can view more details about it here if you scroll down to the Prenatal Plus section: prd02.apsiva.net/catalog/servlet/com.apsiva.servlet.pc.PCHomeServlet?task=login And as far as vegan multivitamins are concerned, from personal experience I would suggest looking into brands like Garden of Life, since all their products are raw and plants based. I hope this helps!

Are the prenatal G12 pills suitable for vegetarians? ## Hi Jack, Because it's not listed on the product packaging, it would be difficult to know where the ingredients were sourced from without contacting the manufacturer directly. However, being primarily vegan myself... I would probably try to steer clear of products that don't state their sources on the box. Have you heard of a company called Garden of Life (Vitamin Code)? They also have a Raw Prenatal multivitamin w/ iron, except theirs is verifiably raw, vegetarian, gluten-free & dairy-free. It's about $40 for a two month supply. Definitely worth checking out! I hope this helps!

I found a large beige pill on the bath room floor and the only marking on it is a large number 1, the pill is oblong btw ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is an oblong tan/beige colored pill, with "G12" lightly inscribed on one side and blank on the other. This particular pill is identified as a Prenatal plus multivitamin with iron; for use in treating deficiencies and providing nutrient support during pregnancy. Manufacturer: Akyma Pharmaceuticals Is there a possibility that the marking could've been faded or partially rubbed off?

I have celiac disease and am currently taking the prenatal plus tabs tan tabs with G12 imprinted on them. Are they gluten free? ## Hi Michelle, After looking at an ingredient profile of Prenatal Plus, I can determine that gluten or wheat is not listed on there with the other vitamins and minerals. However their ingredient profile does not list the "inactive ingredients", where as the addition of things like gluten or wheat might be found, if it does contain it. It's unfortunate that companies like this do not put a complete label on their products. If I were in your shoes, I would consider contacting the manufacturer about this. The manufacturer of this supplement is Akyma Pharmaceuticals. Aside from this, I do know that there are plenty of other options out there that do st...
