Am taking primaleve for menopause ..I was reading the prescribed amount for evening primrose which is 3 to 4 times daily 500 mg..This come in 1,000 mg capsule my main problem which is occasional bouts of depression slight waves of it and the sweats hotflashes .This is my real aim to decrease them so i wondering if i tool Prima every 12 hours would that be safe,or any side affect like skin rashes whatever..lose stool anything like this..and how long can safely take this products?..I just got off of Premarin 0.625 which I have been taking almost 5 years.I have surgical historectomy,but i still have my ovaries and my tubes.I have been off the Premarin for one month already..am 53 years old normal BP normal sugar levels legs cramps getting better back problems slight obesity Colestr normal ...

I'm experiencing a significant amount of hair loss at age 71 which has been going on for a year or so. I use 1/2 gram of Premarin vaginal cream once weekly. Has anyone else experienced hair loss due to this drug? ## Premarin is an Estrogen hormone. It is very hard to say whether the hair loss could be related to a health condition, the hormones or age and since this site is not medical professionals, we can't even begin to guess. Have you tried asking your doctor about it? i was wondering if you can help me . my doctor had me on a hormorne tablet all i can remember it started with p.The reason i am trying to find out is because my doctor has moved and she has taken her patient files with her and i cannot find her. ## my husband has been in pharmacy for 20 years he sd Premarin would be the hormone you are probably looking for. ## It is possible that it was Premarin: There are also several other possibilities. What were you taking it for? Another solution would be to ask the pharmacy, where you got the prescription filled. They would still have the records in their computer and should be able to help you find the information.

Is there a generic version of Premarin> ## Yes, I started on Premarin in 1984 when I had a hysterectomy at the age of 32. I took it until 4 years ago. That's when I switched to a generic that I buy from Mexico, (I live 8 miles from the border). It has been working just great all this time. Same dose, I can tell no difference plus it comes 100 to a bottle for .625 for $17.00. Can't beat it. I researched it on the web also. I like to know exactly what I take ahead of time.

I have a unopened 3 mo supply of premarin that I do not want to take. What can I do with it? Any suggestions I just received it in the mail today. I am using vagifem instead. ## i like to kno if i can have it wat dose it is ## flush it down the toilet

purple like premarin ## This is generic Phenazopyridine 100mg, or brand name Pyridium, among others. It is used to relax the bladder muscles when one has bladder infection, other bladder muscle problems. Side effects include, discolored urine, drowsiness, blurred vision, among others.
