Prednisone 10mg

Can someone take 10 mg of Prednisone then just stop or do you have to taper off?

Just one tablet likely won't require a taper, but it's also not going to help you much, since that won't give it a chance to have much of a therapeutic effect in the body.

I have been to dr today. Have been taking Rulide fir4days. She changed it over cilex 500 mg 3 x a day. Also out me on prednisolone 25mg. I have only taken one tablet. I cannotsleep and jaw is clenshing. Been reading up on side effects. I am going to Bali in a few days. Dont want to risk picking up a stimach bug. But have a tight chest with coughing and sire throaght. What should i do?? I also take zelitrex 500mg daily and premarin 0.625 mg daily.

I'm currently on a course of Prednisone 15gms per day for 7 days and 10gms for an additional 7 days (I'm on day 9) for sinus inflammation. It appears to make me feel very nauseous. Is there something I can take to relieve this nauseous feeling without interfering with the Prednisone.

What if I take prednisone 10mg for only 5 days? I forgot to take three doses of my pill on the second day of my five-day course. What do I do? Skip and start the next on-time? They are 10mg tablets.
