Can my 3 year old take over the counter cough medicines while on prednisolone?

HI Renea,

If you let me know which exact cough medicine you are thinking about giving your child, I can look up the exact ingredients and check for any interactions. However, I did run a preliminary google search to see if Prednisolone can be combined with any of these common OTC cough medicine ingredients: Dextromethorphan, Codeine, Guaifenesin, Pseudoephedrine - and found that there are no unsafe interactions.
