Pre Employment Drug Test And Physical

I'm prescribed 2 mg Xanax a day and have been for about 5 years. I took 2 MG Ativan one time. Will the Ativan make me fail a pre employment drug test a week later?

I'm on suboxone 2 mg, going for a medical for a job on rail tracks. Will I be aloud to work on the tracks being on this medication? I don't know what kind of medical testing they're doing, be it hair, swab, urine. How long do they try to go back on your history? I worked so hard to get to where I am today in my recovery, and this job has been one of my goals. My medical is next week 30 jan. Do I tell them when I go in to the test it's prescribed to me? It is. Anyways, will it come up as narcotics? I'm really worried.

hey I have a pre-employment drug screen and physical in less than 48 hours I know I'm going to pop dirty for opiates what excuse can I use to get the test rescheduled for after the holiday that will not result in them just failing me or not hiring me

I have a question. I have an Rx for hydrocodone 10/325 for 6 a day. I took a couple oxycodone Friday due to extreme pain. Was called after taking them that I got a job pending the pre employment drug test. What will show up? Will I be ok? Will I pass? (My metabolism is extremely fast.)

I took 2 percocet 10 mg last Saturday. Had started taking them about a week before that, 2 to 3 a day. I suffer from a pinched nerve in my back and crushed every nerve in my wrist/hand 20 years ago. Was prescribed perc 30's up until 2 years ago when my doctor lost his license. My current doctor will not prescribe percocet to anyone. Anyway... my question is.... I have a pre-employment drug screen tomorrow at 12:30, will they show up after 6 days of taking nothing? Only took 2 to 3 p10's a day for a week, and I'm a healthy, active, middle-aged female. Please help!!!

I was given a job offer and the employer did a drug test in the office to be sent to a lab. I then had to go for my physical and PPD test. At the physical the Dr. took another urine sample. I told the lady in the lab that my employer had already done my drug screen and asked if my employer would also get the results of these test as well. She said No. Why would the pre employment physical include a urine screen if my employer has already tested me? And can they share those results with my employer?

Uzzie, I know its been a few years but did you ever get that Railroad job on Suboxone. I would think as a rule that type of industry rules out Opioid users

Eddy, is this in response to my questions? I was told that all new patients go through the screening process and that my results won't be released unless I request them and give them to the employer. I just don't understand the process. Is this the status quo for patients having a physical? In previous job physicals my UA was done at a separate lab. It doesn't make sense to me.

I’m a bit concerned about preemployment drug testing for future employers. I’m a college student about to graduate in 4 months. I’ve never been a serious user of any kind (including marijuana) however I’m planning to apply to law enforcement positions, primarily probation. This being said, I’m not quite sure the procedure and if it’s a hair follicle, urine, or blood test or a combination.

The last time I had marijuana was January 8th. I smoke pretty infrequently, such as holiday breaks. I’m planning to stop mid January if not as of the given moment to allow at least 90 days before job applications. I had also taken oxycodone (5mg) on January 6th. I don’t know if it’s relevant but I tried cocaine (2 years ago) and Acid (last summer) each once. Lastly, I had taken stimulants (adderall, vyvanse, concerta) maybe a handful of times 3 years ago before being prescribed the following summer. Other than VERY infrequent marijuana use over the past 5 years, I’ve been moderately clean and never worried about passing urine drug testing.

I’ve read that the drugs, especially marijuana should be out in 90 days, if given the feared hair test. I was hoping somebody could provide advice, on both the recent oxycodone and marijuana use. I’m making the assumption the other drugs are long gone? I was planning to get a haircut and stay clean and on the straight and narrow for the rest of my post-college years, I just hope that my choices throughout high school and college don’t impact my career aspirations.

PLEASE let me know if you have any advice on hair testing, the accuracy of it past 90 days/if it shows up longer than that and law enforcement drug testing procedures.
