Pradaxa Vs. Fragmin

I have been taking Fragmin injections for 1 yr. now and i think they are causing my leg and joint pains. I'm going to go on Pradaxa and am deathly afraid of bleeding. is there anyone out there who has had good results with Pradaxa?

There are many people that have had good results with it. The risks are really about the same for both the Pradaxa and Fragmin, so there is really no need for your fears to increase.

What has your doctor said about the issue?

There are many people that suffer joint pains from these types of drugs.

My mother was diagnosed with small-cell lung carcinoma. Her oncologist put her on a regimen of Fragmin to prevent blood clots in her lung; she is considering taking Dabigatran/Pradaxa instead of continuing her injections. Has anyone else had these two medications and would you recommend Pradaxa.
