Potassium Cl Er 10 Meq Capsule Medicine

I am currently taking Potassium CL ER MEQ TABLWAT. my potassium level was 2.5. so my doc called me and told me to take 2 of these pills aday. My question is how much potassium is in each pill that I take. And what other vegtables would you recomomend for me to add to my doet. I have food alergies to tomatoes, green peppers, onions, garlic, green beans. and lettuce gives me a really bad stomach ach when i eat it. So how can you help me? Doc took more blood today to see where my levels are at. Im tirred of getting all puffy and swelly because of this imbalance. thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you!

Based on research I've gathered, the tablets you are referring to appear to come in doses of 8 meq, 10 meq, or 20 meq. The pills should be one of those doses, but you may be able to view the dosage on the prescription form. Alternatively, your doctor and/or pharmacist that you went to will be able to tell you which dosage you were prescribed if you bring your form or pills.

As far as your dietary needs go, I would highly recommend consuming lots of fruits, even more so than vegetables (when it comes to potassium and vitamin levels, and actually feeling satiated after eating). The link below shows some fruits that contain high amounts of potassium:

Fruits are equally, if not more important than vegetables, more over because you can actually thrive off fruit alone and not vegetables due to insufficient calories in veggies. Fruits also contain just as many nutrients and enzymes as most vegetables. I think a balance of 85% fruit and 15% veggies is a healthy addition to any diet. Fruit is personally 75% or more of my diet, so I'd be happy to help offer more information on eating like this if your interested. I take potassium cl er 10 meq cap . I take 2 in morning and 2 in evenings. Sometimes I get nausated and need to take a 4 mg zofran. Is this ok? I just worry about drug interactions. I am also on 3 capsules a day of nuerotin, 1 20 mg of simvastatin, 1. 15 mg meloxicam, 1 tab at night of 10 mg montelukast. 1 nexium a day.1 10 mg lisinopril a day and 1. 30 mg of nifedipine er a day. I had neck Surgeory about 4 years ago and the dr. Put a titanian plate in my neck. Everything healed great. But , still hurt with neck hurting and center of back. The doctor said my neck and back was eat up with arthritus. They say I also have panic attacks. I was never sick till I turned 70 and then it was like I fell apart. The back doctor also gave me a prescription for tramadol 50 mg 1 twice a day. I very seldom take them. Should I ? I see my md. Once every three months and he does blood work. I just worry being on all this medication but I can't navigate without it. I would appreciate for some kind of reply. Tbank you so much. Joan
