I also have had a clear slimy mucous leaking from my butt after a 12 week treatment with Harvoni
It has changed to now having leakage of liquid stool and pooping out mucous strings with no BM
I have been to several doctors with no answer but I am scheduled for tests of nerve damage in anal sphincter.

From what I've read, diarrhea is reported to be one of the most common side effects of Harvoni (ledipasvir + sofosbuvir). However this is the first time I heard about 'clear mucous' being an issue.

When it comes to any unusual symptoms I would encourage you to report them to the FDA via their MedWatch program, which can be reached at: fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch

Hopefully it'll get better in time, but if not, perhaps your doctor will at least have some dietary suggestions for minimizing these symptoms.

Well I did Harvoni 24 weeks and did it from Jan to June of 2014. Since Feb of 2016 I have had uncontrollable bowel movements and major diarrhea for 5 mos now with clear mucks to. Have been in hospital twice in month of May with sever distention in upper abdomen which was diagnosed with Pancreatitis. My abdomen and back hurt and I get lots of muscle cramps in calfs. I feel fatigued, sometime nauseated and have concerns about post side effects. The diarrhea is ongoing and I have severe acid reflex. Had many test done but results were good for the most part. I felt good during treatment with some fatigue and frontal headache but I have been off treatment a year and feel like things aren't going well. I know it was a Miracle drug and we are Hep C free and Grateful to get a 2nd chance but have concerns that it isn't over yet and feel horrible now. Anyone else...?

My husband had Harvoni treatment similar to yours and over the past year has had the same issues you are having. After a thorough workup, he was diagnosed with C. Difficile Toxin in his stool, , which can be treated with antibiotics. He is doing better, but may need a second round of the antibiotics. May Harvoni has some effect that would cause this. It was a relief to find out there was an explanation and hopefully, a cure for his issues. Hope you find relief for yours.
