Possible Fake Teva 834 Klonopin (Top voted first)

I just got 2mg klonopin with TEVA on 1 side and 834 on the other. I know they make them with this imprint, but when I took it and it didn't taste very minty. It tasted like nothing really, just powdery. I'm worried they might be counterfeit klonopins out of something weird. Does klonopin always taste noticeably minty? What's the possibility that these are bad?

Was the klonopin a soft or hard pill? My friend gave me clonazepam 2mg teva 834 I barely felt them they were really soft they dissolved in my mouth quickly does that mean their fresh or old

I got a few Teva 834 usually they are very minty when i get them from my Pharmacy but I got these from a friend they are not minty there almost gritty to me when I leave them in my mouth and I don't know if I'm not feeling them or if it's just me because I'm in my head about it has anyone heard of any fake Teva 834's going around

From what I could gather, most people are saying that Klonopin has an almost "minty-sweet" taste/smell to it, with no real chemical aftertaste. Apparently certain pharmacies add a sweetener to them. Others have stated however that they received non-generic pills in the past, that were not sweet (yet they were still legit).

Teva 834 is a 2 mg Clonazepam which is always minty. That being said, I have heard Teva is on back order for the pharmacies which carry it (CVS). I called Teva international a month ago when the pharm told me this. Teva said they are still shipping to the U.S.A. This is 5/2018 and it seems there some corruption going on especially with the insurance and the pharmacy. The pharmacy can now change pick up dates so your without. Then they say it's the insurance but if you pay cash you can get a partial on time... This is real s***. For Clonazepam: Teva is 1, then Sandoz, then Mylan, then Accord. The last two might as well be sugar pills. It's not the old days anymore. Time to get off all this, taper time and stock up on everything just in case.

Have you ever had trouble detecting other mint flavoring in anything?

Klonopin actually isn't flavored, but there is something to the chemical structure of the drug, as well as most other Benzodiazepines, that causes the same type of 'cooling taste sensation' that you get from mint.

However, it just may not be as strong and noticeable in all of them, not everyone that takes them tastes the mintness of them.

It may also be affected by the types of fillers they use, it's possible that some of them temper the cooling effect. There are several other people that have noticed the same thing about the ones from Teva, but knew they were real.

Not all have that minty taste I get 2-mg for the past 10 ,yrs and the last two yrs they stopped tasting minty so I asked the pharmacy they are the ones who tld me it doesn't necessarily have to taste minty!

They have always tasted that way, I have been on them for 18 years.. I am on 1mg 4x daily prn, and every manufacturer has that taste...So they are not fake, just the way the chemical composition is...

I've been on colonzopam on and off over the years for panick attacks. First on .05 then on 1 mg. I have never through out the years had a green 1mg that taste like mint. Mine were always blue and desolved fast . What is going on here? Can someone tell me.?

My 1 mg klpn is blue and is minty. I would look up everything u can online to make sure u didn't get ripped off. I'd even take it to a lab! They don't need to know if it's yours or not.

I just noticed they taste minty so I thought they were placebos the old ones did not taste minty so I have no idea but I would ask pharmacis that. I take Xanax tried a kolonopin and argued that it was minty and placebo I want to know cuzz my doc is going to switch me to it..good luck

My experience with clonopin it is true most of them taste minty, but I do know that certain manufacturer's like Teva 834 are not minty at all but are still the real thing.

Some of you are wrong wrong wrong wrong! They all don't taste just alike. One isnt as minty as the next. Some are very hard some are not, but none should be very soft or crumble easily. Tevas are not exceptionally minty.

This is the correct answer... most of them do have a minty or a slight minty flavor taste to them. I've been on them for almost 10 years and have been prescribed 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0. I've had taba, the r symbol, e symbol, and box symbol. The blue one tastes the most minty and dissolves in your mouth. Teva 834 doesn't seem to have as much minty flavor to it at first but then you can taste it a little bit after you swallow it. Bottom line is, like the person before me said they're not all the same. Some are stronger than others.

What State you in? I'm in California near San Francisco. Ever since DR's started weaning patients off of benzos (at least in California) the supply dwindled BUT demand is ALWAYS HIGH here in silicon valley...anyways the supply wasn't cutting it which led to 11$ for ONE 2 mg zany that's double the Price they were 4 $ each...(thank rappers for that...they get kids from Rich suburbs thinking that Mommy's xanax will go great with lean... Just like the rapper guy said!!! Well all it did was get them strung out or worse, dead...my point is u can go on eBay buy a press for any pill form..then grab your crypto currency, hit the deep web and get any type of narcotic u want in powder form... mostly from Malaysia and Indo. So these not pharmaceutical people that know NOTHING ABOUT PHARMACOLOGY OR DOSING, they probably work at Macy's and are now pressing fake pills which is either a total rip off of chalk pressed to look like a benzo... Or u loose a weekend cuz they put too much of god knows what in the press, or u die... And now u got low level dealers going to prison for murder due to the paper trail. They usually always catch the guy making the fake pills that killed a 14 yr old when the deep dark web isn't so secret. The govt is watching everything, especially things they say are so private. It's not..govt can see everyone doing anything anytime. Be safe and trace them back to a pharmacy or wean off them. I know they are good and help. I took them on and off for 7 years. They helped me live without panic but the detox was not worth it. Now I just take gabba. Side note: read about what Benzos were originally made to treat and read how quickly they stop working on the area of the brain that u need it in. It's a drug that should be used short term, not for life. It's a good read..stay safe.

Have a .5 klonopin that’s completely flat like teva it’s yellow in color but has E 63 on it. Its different from the E 63 I’ve seen plenty of times before. They’re usually bubbled but this is completely flat. Is it fake?

Yes it does have "minty" heartburn taste to it.when you let it melt in your mouth.it melts rather quickly & has a powdery texture.mine are prescribed.they are real.

There is a HUGE case sensitive issue going on with KLONOPIN-CLONAZEPAM and all GENERICS of that drug. It is causing issues for many people! People that are on them, they are less effective than usual and also NOT showing up on drug panels, which has created a huge problem for ppl who really need them and suffer from anxiety, PTSD & etc! I think it is time to call ur local news stations and fight for what may be a huge conspiracy behind these pharmaceutical companies. They're either doing it to cut costs or to just be plain sickos!!! Like I said, huge problem across Massachusetts state-wide for months now! And I keep reading more and more similar stories across the web. Please everyone speak up and tell your story publicly asap!!

Every “real” klonopin will be sweet and minty. The sweeter and mintier, the more effective. I’ve tried brand name, every generic you can think of, and Teva are by far the best. They are better than the brand name to me, or the closest you’ll get. There are also a specific kind that is not available here. They’re super sweet and minty, and the best I’ve ever had. The real test to see if your generic or brand names are any good, place one under your tongue, if it lasts a while and doesn’t just dissolve immediately, then it should be of quality.

You can't just take pills to a lab to be tested esp when you bought them illegally. You say they won't know if they are yours or not. If they were yours then they would come from the doctor and you wouldn't be testing if they were real.
