Hi nancy,

Based on my research, Pliva 647 (Fluoxetine 10 mg, NDC 50111-647) contains the following list of inactive ingredients:

- Ammonia
- D&C Yellow No. 10
- Aluminum Oxide
- FD&C Blue No. 1
- Gelatin
- Magnesium Stearate
- Starch, Corn
- Propylene Glycol
- Shellac
- Titanium Dioxide

While gluten itself doesn't appear to be listed, I often hear that it can also be disguised as various forms of starch. If you think you may be experiencing any sort of reaction to one of the fillers in this medication, it's very likely that it could be associated with that particular ingredient.

I hope this info helps!

Based on the inactive ingredients listed above I doubt that it has gluten. Corn starch is not a wheat / gluten compound. And the other ingredients do not appear to be related to wheat either.

I have 2 Pliva 647 pills. I have an exam coming up that is crucial to my semester. So I thought that these were Adderall to stay awake and focused, but now I'm not sure if that is the case. Please advise.

@Bren, Pliva 647 capsules are NOT Adderall, they are an antidepressant called Fluoxetine. You can read the messages above for more details about the inactive ingredients in the capsules, and I'd also recommend reading more about the drug in question itself. I hope this helps!
