Plan To Stop Taking Coveram 5/10

I'm 34 years old and I have been taking coveram 5/10 since 2012. I have issues with my bp, hence my doctor advised me to used coveram 5/10 now my bp is normal.. i am trying to do some exercise to lose weight, from 120kg now 115kg. My question is, can i stop taking coveram?? I want your opinion before consulting my doctor.. Awaiting your response..thank you
