I use to take 400 mg (1 pill) three times a day. Now I take four pills three times a day. Can that increase the side effects of the med?? ## Changing or upping doses of any medication can result in adverse effects. Small Thin capsule shaped pill thats white in color pill with black lettering on the pill 402. Its stamped twice on the same side but on the left and right capsule segments ## This is Phenytoin 100mgs, a generic for Dilantin. This is an anticonvulsant medication, used to treat Epilepsy and other seizure disorders.

half white half purple ## need to know what this is.found in childs room ## Pill Image This is Phenytoin 100mgs Extended Release, a generic for Dilantin, this is used to help prevent seizures for those who suffer from Epilepsy. It is also used to treat certain types of nerve pain. I would say if your child had it, they probably thought it was a regular pain med, or it was given/sold to them as such and you need to have a serious chat. Even if it isn't what they thought it was, it is still illegal to have without a prescription.
