I have been taking phenytoin for 15 years for seizures due to abnormal vessel between speech and memory part of my brain. I fill my meds at Wal-Mart. Here lately they switched me to phenytoin made by a different company and it has me all messed up.I was taking a brand made by a company AMN. Now they switched to a company called Mylan. I am tired of this.Once they gave me phenytoin that was orange color. Talk about being on edge, I was. What is the difference in one company and the other? if any one eat 49 tablets of eptoin in a single time due to any mental stress than what will happen ?? ## Eptoin contains the active ingredient Phenytoin and anti-epileptic medication. If you take that many at once you run several risks, including: liver damage, kidney damage, overdose and death. This generic was given to me when I refilled my RX that had been Mylan 1560 white/lavender capsule. I haven't felt good, blahs, no energy, headache which I finally realized it started around the time I started taking the above medication. ## Hello, Deanna! How are you? I got two attackes of seizures. One was about 4 years back and second was just two and half months back. Then I consult it with my DR in Delhi and after a lot tests it's become sure that I have seizures problem and he advised me few kind of medicine which the main is Epsolin ( phenytoin Sodium) 300 mg per night. I was wishing to recover my problems by starting if this peel but after around 4pm till late night I am getting very bad headache, even when I get the Epsolin tablets arround 6-7 pm still it doesn't works and my headache problem is still there until I sleep. Beside the headache Iam felling disgorge and Vomiting. So can you advise me is it the side effect if useing the Epsolin or some other issues it can in increase or decease the dose of Epsolin ?
