I have taken phentermine several times and always had great results. I was prescribed phentermine 37.5 mg a few weeks ago and it doesn’t seem to be working. It has absolutely no effect on me. I still have an appetite, no increase in energy and haven’t lost any weight. I cannot seem to figure out what is going on this time and why it’s not working but it’s driving me insane and I have major anxiety over why it’s not working. Anyone have an experience like this?

Hello Riggsbo,

According to the National Institute of Health phentermine should only assist in depressing your appetite and will not give you more energy. It should also be noted that this pill is intended to be only a portion of your regiment towards weight loss. All of the clinical studies that are shown by the NIH have patients administering phentermine coupled with healthy diets and exercise.

Is it possible that the last time you were taking phentermine you were on a different diet and exercise regiment? If so, perhaps you could try to go back to that regiment for a week and see if that gives aids you in feeling more energy. Also be sure to drink plenty of water as being dehydrated will also cause you to feel lethargic throughout your day.

Hope this helps.

Re: Blue (# 4)

No I didn’t :/ I stopped taking it for about 4 months and tried starting again and I am still having the same issue. I can’t lose weight, it hasn’t decreased appetite or cravings. I had taken it on and off for like 10 years and never had that problem. At one point I had taken it for 8 months straight and it still worked. If you figure it out let me know!
