If im allergic to med. am i able to take cloraz dipot?

If I'm allegeric to phenobarbital can I take this (cloraz dipot) medication for anxiety? ## Hello, Sharp! How are you? You should be able to take it. Phenobarbital is a barbiturate, but Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine, so they aren't related. The FDA lists Chlordiazepoxide as carrying the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. However, that doesn't guarantee that you will not also have an allergic reaction to this medication. Many people with medication allergies turn out to be allergic to various medications. Is there anything else I can help with?

My doctor has prescribed Phenobarbital 32.4 mg. for agitation. But I also have some Clonidine 0.1 mg left from an old prescrption. If my withdrawals get pretty bad at night, is it safe to take Phenobarbital 32.4 mg and Clonidine 0.1 mg together? ## Hello, Angie! How are you? Medication phenobarbital.

Just started phenobarbital. Making me so drowsy more of a heavy wrapped in a "blanket" feeling can't get started. I also feel just medically off all day. ## Help, Jpswoman! How are you? I'm very sorry about how you're feeling. However, side effects like that are relatively normal when first starting this medication, they should improve in a few weeks, once your body gets used to it. If they don't, or if it gets severe, then you should contact your doctor. Is there anything else I can help with?

Long term means 35 years Have ther been ant articles or law suits ## All RX and over the counter drugs affect the liver. In the elderly, it is far more dangerous. Phenobarbital will induce and develop precocious puberty in children ? IN LONG TERM USE??

I have a small doubt that is there any record that Phenobarbital will induce and develop precocious puberty in children ?. I have never seen any issue in the individuals who used almost 30 to 40 years , starting their birth. To the best of knowledge , I have no such evidence, but my colleague is confirming it and she is strongly arguing and not considering any other. Lavetracetum is more expensive but she is strongly recommending it and eliminating the Phenobarbital in place, which is usually cheaper and highly effective. The only side effect with pheno in long term use is anaemic condition, but it is easily controlled with additional vitamins and nutrients. But this is my strong opinion. I beg you, by this time you would have studied everything on phenol- kindly enlighten me please from t

Why am I not able to get my persciption filled at any pharmacy for this medication? They say it's not available. What can else can take for the relief of IBS? Based on my research, the FDA doesn't list this drug as being discontinued; nor does it list it under current drug shortages. So I can't really answer your first question as to why your pharmacies don't carry it. However you can always report a shortage or supply issue online at: fda.gov/Drugs/DrugSafety/DrugShortages/ucm142398.htm There are plenty of other treatment options (natural, OTC, and prescription) for IBS, how...

phenobarbital v 5012 tabs

I'm want to learn whether or not there's a way to prepare the phenobarbital tabs for! IV injection... ## No, it is not safe to try to inject any medication that has not been specifically formulated to be used in such a manner. Learn more Phenobarbital details here. Tablets contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, they are normally just expelled as waste. However, when you break tablets down for injection, you are placing these substances in your body in a manner in which it cannot properly dispose of them. This creates the risk of your developing blockages which could lead to embolism or stroke. There are injectable forms of most medications available and, if that's what you need, then you should see about being prescribed one of the...

Is my Qualitest 5012 V Phenobarbital tablets 30 mg or 32.4 mg? My pharmacy label on the bottle says 30 mg but all the online info says the 5012 V is 32.4 mg. ## It might have just been a typo on the pharmacy's end, because they are 32.4mg tablets.
