anti nausia ## Just wanted to know what drug class that phenigrin might be in and is it something that shows up on a screening that I would need to let some one know in advance of? ## Hi Ali, Based on my research, Phenergan, also known as Promethazine, is in the family of drugs Phenothiazines but is used medically as an antihistamine antiemetic. It treats allergy symptoms such as itching, runny nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, hives, and itchy skin rashes. From what I've read, Phenergan itself shouldn't show up on a drug test, but there is a variety of Phenergan + codeine that could. Just to be safe, I suggest letting whoever is asking know if you are taking it. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Phenergan Details I hope this info helps!

However, there is a vitamin tablet on the market called K2 that uses this for a marking. As an over the counter tablet, that would explain why it isn't in any of the databases. I am not 100% certain, since I cannot find pictures to confirm. It may help if you email me the picture when you have time and I will do some more research. I can be reached at [email protected] ## it is a phenergan tablet. for nausea

Doctors here will not prescribe pain medication not actually am I able to get my phenergan for nausea so I can maybe eat. The Pain clinics around here treat back problems since that seems to be where the money is. I dont know what to do but i do have documented proof of my pain and issues. Any help would be great. thanks ## Hello, A regular primary care doctor should be able to prescribe you Phenergan since it is just an antihistamine/antiemetic. In regards to finding a local pain doctor, I have listed below a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your ci...

i have been taking Phenergan for over 6 years after several back fusions. I have become very ill after stopping the use of Phenergan with extreme nausea and headaches and flue like symptoms. This has been happening for over a week and I am getting sicker every day. I finally took a phenergan pill last night and all of the bad symptoms stopped. How do I stop using this drug without becoming so ill? ## Phenergan contains the active ingredient Promethazine, which is an antihistamine that's also often used to prevent nausea and vomiting. Since you've been taking it for so long, your body has basically become dependent on it and is no longer use to dealing with certain stimuli without it, thus if you stop taking it abruptly, you experience rebound effects which may be worse than what...

What is the difference between the Phenergan pills marked zc 02 and gg 225 ## These are both the same medication and same dosage (Promethazine hydrochloride 25 mg). The only difference I see is that they are manufactured and/or repackaged by separate companies. Other than that, there may or may not be different inactive ingredients in the pills. If you have an allergy to certain inactive ingredients in one pill, then you can always switch to other, if that is in fact the case. Hope this information helps! Please post back if you have any other general questions or concerns about this drug.

How can I locate pharmacies in the Los Angeles, Southern California area that carries Phenergan (Promethazine) with Codeine Cough Syrup manufactured by Actavis? ## There is really no way of knowing which pharmacy is going to have any particular manufacturer's product in stock, because when it comes to generics, it can vary, depending on what company was offering the cheapest price, when they had to restock their supply. The only thing I can really suggest is going to the pharmacies and asking them. Since this contains Codeine, you'll likely not get an accurate answer, if you just call and ask. Due to the risk of theft, many of them will just tell anyone that calls that they do not carry controlled substances. They have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is actually a l...

wht are medicine's which are to be used to avoid stomach cake during mc for my wife ## I'm sorry, I am not sure what you are referring to as MC, as this abbreviation could stand for many different medical conditions. There are many different things on the market that can be used to help prevent nausea and stomach upset, such as: Diphehydramine: or Phenergan: We aren't medical professionals, though and ultimately, only she and her doctor can decide what is appropriate for her to use. Has she consulted her doctor about this?

I'm looking for dosage information for a 7 year old. My niece is puking (exuse the language), and I can't seem to find the correct dosage information for kids who are over 5 years, under 12 years. I have the phenergan(promethazine), 50mg. We cut it into 12.5 mg quarters, and we're trying to get her to keep one quarter down. This drug has done absolute wonders in the past, both in tablet and suppository formulations. It can really save a trip to the hospital for dehydration, if you get it into the system early enough. I just can't remember the dosage for someone her size. ## Hi Gary.... I am not sure when you posted this, but just as a FYI, 12.5 mg is fine for her age. If she has never had it before then just keep a close watch on her and any breathing changes the first f...
