Pharmacies That Carry Buprenorphine Made By Mylan Or Roxanne 54 411 (Page 13)

I've been taking Buprenorphine 8mg for 3 1/2 years now, all of a sudden every pharmacy in our area (that I know of) has switched the manufacturer they are order from, frustrating to me as I just seem to see a difference all though there shouldn't be. Does anyone know a pharmacy that still carries bup mg with the imprint 54 411?

What brand are you talking about preferring? I know like the west Ward Roxanne brand over the others. The brand name has been gone since 2011 when they discontinued it along with the brand name suboxone tablets. It was all about switching people over to those strips once they lost exclusively and it went generic. Rickett- benckiser was the original manufacturer of Subutex and suboxone. They started to say the pills they had been selling for years were all if a sudden too dangerous for children (despite no studies showing this) and they saw that generics were going to kill their profits do they pushed those strips on doctors and applied for a new exclusively patent. Unfortunately Subutex got caught up in this and there is no more brand name. They still sell suboxone pills and I believe Subutex name brand in parts of Europe though because it hasn't gone generic yet I read. Which is rediculous because they said they were dangerous...! These big pharma companies are thieves and don't care about people or them not getting the best medication it's all about maximum profit regardless.

Cvs carries 54/11 I’m in St Pete Fl, these are the only ones I’ve ever liked and felt like they work, all other genetics Imo Suck!

I just went to Walmart to pick up my Bup I pay out of pocket for the Wstwsard/ Roxanne brand since that’s the best for me and they no longer take coupons. What’s worse and very embarrassing as a patient is that the would not fill until they knew if I was rxed it for addiction or pain man. I was so upset they said they need to document it now!? IMO it’s non of their business. I have a valid script and obviously I need it .. I feel they are going backwards now in the treatment of people who need it. They are making us feel like we are doing something wrong when in fact many of us take it to help ourselves live a normal life. When is this going to end !? It’s getting out of control!

Yes I so agree. It's as if "THEY" are completely out of line and respect. It's none of their business what or why I take anything. There only job is to fill the damn prescription. The Walmart I go to is in the agoining sp ?? county as mine. Initially the pharmacist wouldn't fill it because I didn't live 10 min. to that county. I got through that battle. Finally they admitted it was a Walmart policy not feds. Now they want me to buy narcan. The stuff for oding from opiates. I'm waiting for this BS crisis you to pass. I use subs for my addiction to opiates. The powers that be are so out of control and Trump's got a lot to be held accountable for. Ok. Good luck.

I get mine from Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy with GoodRx discount. $207 for (120) 8mg. Without is $612!! I have tried all generic bupe available in except for Rhodes Purdue RP b8. And these Westward, for me, are the best.

Westward for me caused my asthma to flare up bad. So did the Hi-Tech brand of buprenorphine. It's also called Akorn. Everybody body chemistry is completely different one another. One brand of buprenorphine can work better for one and person and not the other person. The only brand of buprenorphine that doesn't bother my asthma, is Mylan. They've had troubles getting back out on the market. I wish they would hurry up and get it back out into the pharmacies. I was put on Mylan brand of buprenorphine in California. Then I came back home to the Midwest and the pharmacies didn't carry the Mylan brand of buprenorphine. The next best one for me is the Actavis brand for me. As I said, everydody reacts different to medication. The only difference between the Mylan and Actavis brands of buprenorphine are, the shape of the pill, the color and the taste. Other wise to me they work about the same way for me. I'm on 8mgs once in the am and once in the pm. This buprenorphine has worked better for me than any opiate pain medication ever did. I'm so glad, I'm not taking Oxycontin or Morphine anymore. I was on a very high dose on both of them and they still weren't killing my pain. The buprenorphine has made my life so much better. I wish the doctors would've put me on buprenorphine a long time ago and my body wouldn't have gotten so weak. Now its going to take a long time for me to get back the way I, if ever. Bobby, did you ever get the chance to find the new Rhodes 8mg bup. Yet .it took me alot of calling different Pharmacy's but finally I found them and finally a new generic that can be very close to the original subutex brand. Why did they have to nbn b take that one away..they we're out of this world..its hard to take a good brand for a long time and then the come out with junk..well hikma 54 421s are good to they just change some ingredients they are more crumbly I had found chipped peices and broken ones in my bottle last month but yes Rhodes are great..

No I go back next week to get a new script so I'm gonna ask my CVS about the Rhodes Purdue brand but I have a feeling they won't say they can order them. I've only used this one CVS over the past few years because my old insurance plan that just changed insisted I only use one pharmacy or they wouldn't cover my scripts ( they sucked) . I do know pharmacies around here are alot more conservative about giving people any I fo over the phone and even in person alot won't know what your talking about when you ask if they have a certain brand or they say they can't get anything else and basically don't want to deal with you.

I'm near the Tampa area and just filled my script. This is the first time I've gotten Rhodes. Holy moly there's a huge difference and they are so much better. I sought out a compound pharmacy and they had them. I've used or called CVS, Walgreens, Publix, Target and they are only using activis or sun pharma. Best bet is mom and pop stores. Or check Mercer pharmacy. Also look under compounding pharmacies. I had to drive 20 extra minutes but we'll worth it. I was upfront and honest with my situation and they were the most helpful pharmacy ever.

I am very, very happy you're so pleased. I just about thought anyone would...what's not to like..not to mention they have 8.64 mg of bup equalvent to 8mg. I noticed the difference right away too... Thank goodness for these blogs, I might not have heard about them until they were just offered in the pharmacy more. I live in Cincinnati too and I am having the same problem. I cannot find the Subutex 54 411 anywhere. I have called about every Pharmacy in the city. Can you please let me know if you ever come across those? I fill my prescription tomorrow. Last month they gave me the real tiny ones and I do not like them at all.

I live in Cincinnati. I just saw your post from about a year ago and I was getting the 54 411 at Eastgate Walmart for the past couple years and they just switched last month. If you know of any pharmacy in the city could you please let me know? I had to take those little tiny ones all month and have not felt right for the entire month.

Those tiny ones are horrible. They didn’t work at all for me. They're called the Hi-Tech or Akron brand of Buprenorphine. The others one you might be able to get, but I’m not sure besides the Actavis brand of Buprenorphine is WestWard brand of Buprenorphine. Otherwise you’ll probably have to stay with the little ones or go to the Actavis brand of Buprenorphine because Mylan’s brand of Buprenorphine isn’t available in the pharmacies yet. I haven’t had any of the other ones everybody is talking about because they aren’t available in my State. The Teva brand of Buprenorphine is no longer available in the US. I don’t know where can go not unless you google it and maybe find a web-based pharmacy, that will take your script, and fill it for you. I’d check to make sure they have it, before you even try to send the script to them. If you do, make a photo copy of it, so you have proof, you had the script in your hands at one point and time. Always kept a paper trail of anything with medical issues. Including when you pickup your scripts and the receipts. I hope this will help you.

Check out the new Rhodes, they are the best out there now. U might have to do alittle bit of leg work and calls to pharmacy's but they came out in Oct 2017 I had to go to my little mom n pop shop. As of now it's all they carry..I had to go in with the phone number and I forgot what that's called a maybe it's a 13 digit number or go to Google BTODREMS. Com and anything one would want to know about bup. Is on that page.i have gotten them 3x now. They are very smooth and shiny no chips its just an absolutely beautiful looking pill..and the strength of the 8mg is is good that three quarters of my day will go by, and I think oh boy I get to take 3 more if I want. But if u like hikma u will LOVE RHODES

I’m really sorry for so many of you that are having a hard time finding the Roxanne’s 54 411’s. I have said this before but Giant Grocery & Pharmacy still carry them, however, I just tried to look up what states have Giant chains & it seems only VA, MD, WVA, & PA do. Hopefully this info helps someone.

Hey guys, I'm in Jacksonville Florida looking for the 54 411 also. I got them from Walmart for 3 years, then one day they got a new pharmacist and he told me I was "out of his jurisdiction" and needed to find a pharmacy closer to my house.. literally 11 miles away from my house. Now no other Walmart's will fill it cause my script has their location on it. I've been getting the tiny hi tech ones and they suck
