Period Not Coming After Taking Regestrone 5mg

I started getting my periods after 9 months of my delivery as i was feeding my baby. My cycles were irregular so i consulted my doctor upon whos advice i took regestrone 5 mg for 25 days (starting 5th day of my period). Dr told that i will get my period within 1 day of missing the tablet. I have not got my period even after 20 days of stopping the medicine. I am not pregnant. Please advice.

This contains Norethisterone, which is a Progestogen and, in some cases it can postpone your periods, rather than cause them to start, so it just may not have been the right hormone choice for you, to help regulate yours.

hi,it took regestrone 5mg tablet for 7days mor & night but still i didnt get my periods .it give tension to me .pls give solution for this.always i am having regular periods.for doing ivf Dr. advice to take this medicine .

Hi, I have hypothyroidism and pcos. But thyroid is normal.. I have low progesterone.. I didn't have my periods after delivery... my son is 2 years old now.. when I take medicine like regesteron I will see my periods one month but not the next month... I am planning for a second baby.. but bcz of no periods it's not possible to conceive.. I'm feeling tension about my health.. Please kindly suggest me.
