The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. However, there are no guarantees that you may not also be allergic to it, or some other medications. I have a terrible cough and sinus problems. I have been wheezing so am on ventolin puffers. I am allergic to penicillin. Can I take craztronin? ## Hello, Leanne! How are you? Azithromycin is an antibiotic, the FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. You should be able to take it, though there is a risk of your being allergic to other antibiotics, if you're allergic to one. However, this will only help, if your illness is due to a bacterial infection. If it is due to allergies or a cold, it will not help, so you shouldn't take, unless your doctor has prescribed it for you. It’s supposed to be penicillin. I don’t wanna kill myself. I bought it in Mexico. ## Hello Jay, Unfortunately any medicine that you purchased from mexico that doesn't have an imprint is not going to be identifiable. In the U.S we use the imprints on the medicines to be able to physically identify the pill which allows us to trace them back to their manufacturer which in turn allows us to pull up the information on the specific medication. As a personal rule of thumb I never take any medicine that I'm not able to identify and trace back to the manufacturer. Your pill may contain penicillin, it may simply be a placebo sugar pill or it could theoretically contain morphine. While that's a gross exaggeration it's really not off base, the fact is you simply don...

I have a bad tooth that hurts and I have some penicillin that expired 6-24-2013 from a dentist. Would it be safe to take? ## Hello, Marty! How are you? You should also be aware that Turmeric is not FDA approved to treat any condition, nor have any studies proven it effective.
