This call center is HORRIBLE - don't they understand they are dealing with people with MS? What JERKS

Hi, Deb! Very sorry you had problems when you called.

Where they generally unhelpful, uniformed or was there some other problem?

I've found that when I call the one I use, they are usually very helpful. I never had a problem until recently, when they were switching to a different company to fill prescriptions.

Do they have a website you can use, rather than calling?

I had the worst experience with the Ampyra patient assistant. It was the only phone number I had. My insurance specialty pharmacy sent out my Ampyra and teffedera in a regular cardboard box. Both medications arrived in bad shape. It is the end of June. Which means it is hot. The bottles were too hot to even touch. I called the pharmacy and they gave me a hard time and they would not replace my medications. I called BIOGEN and they were very helpful. They replaced my teffedera and switched me to a reliable pharmacy. I called the patient assistance number for my Ampyra. They were useless. They told me to call the pharmacy or my doctor. No help at all. I mean REALLY!! Come on now. I needed help. And they were of no help at all. Call my pharmacy. DUH. I DID THAT!! I told them again I CALLED MY PHARMACY!!! This happened Thursday before a 3 day holiday weekend. My doctor was away. And I have no Ampyra. Thanks for the help you M***** i**** at the so called patient assistance center. If you or someone in your family were in my shoes you would be upset full of anxiety and sick to your stomach. THANKS FOR NOTHING.

Just assume everything to be wrong in every way when working with the third party people that Ampyra's assistance program is being processed by and anything done right will be a pleasant surprise! (kind of like people from Mars are trying to run an earth program without knowing the language.) Be strong and stay cool everyone!
