Pain Doctors In Las Vegas

I am relocating from Maui to Las Vegas, summerfield area. I would so appreciate anyone who could recommed a Chronic Pain Doctor who is not afraid to medicate you properly. Most chronic pain patients know what I have been through with Dr.'s who hassle, disrespect and treat you as though you are just a drug addict when truely, without our medications, life is unbearable. Someone rear ended me and broke my back 13 years ago and have had chronic pain ever since. I recently also had nuerosurgery on my neck, (C3) because my spine is deteriorating. I now have another area of pain from that. My Maui Dr. was wonderful, a caring man who really understands and cares about providing the proper medication to give you the best quality of life you can have. I currently take 3 30mg morphine, 6 to 8 550 percocet and 4 zanax per day. I always have pain but at least I can have some quality of life and relief from so much suffering for so long. Sorry to ramble, but if someone could recommend a Dr. that you think wouldn't have a problem prescribing my current allotment, I would be ever so greatful. I of course have all my records and no history of abuse or mis-use of medications. Thank you very much :)

In regards to finding a local pain doctor, I have listed below a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results:

You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another:
wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist

Many of the results you find (in one or both of the links above) also list a phone number for that specific doctor; I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they prescribe the type of medication you are seeking to manage your pain. You may also have to ask if they are accepting new patients; some aren't, but most usually are.

In my own understanding, I believe you can get a general (good or bad) vibe from the place based on your experience on the phone with them and how helpful or considerate they are to you. I find this to be a good judgmental factor in deciding whether or not to choose one doctor over another.

Hi there, I just moved to Maui from Seattle and am having a tough time finding a Dr here that will just maintain my three 5Mg Vicoden a day even with my MRI's. I've gone to two places but I'm being treated like an addict when considering my diagnosed issues and medical records I feel like I'm asking for very little. And suggestions would sure be appreciated. Thanks
