Had my Dr change my ER med to Oxymorphone. Went to Walgreens and they told me NO generic. Talked to the other Pharmacist, he looked it up and BAM, they had them from actavis!! Saved me 80.00!!!! So, the Pharmacist dont even know they have them ## I'm glad you were able to find it and save so much money! But you do have to go a little easy on the pharmacist that wasn't aware, especially at a large store like Walgreens. He has a lot of duties and may not always be able to keep up with all the new drug release information. There are more important things he has to give priority to, such as keeping up on new drug side effects, interactions and warnings. Ordering the stock and etc. It can be a pretty hectic job. I am probably just being paranoid, but I'm prescribed "Oxymorphone HCL ER 10 Mg tablets", (and that's the exact label law on my bottles) take 1 every 12 hrs. Today, instead of my normal small orange pill with G72 printed on it, and manufactured by Global pharm...I received a larger, white pill, imprinted with 54 814, manufactured by Roxane/West-War. But the question lies in the label...it's labeled as "Oxymorphone HCL 10 mg tablet". My question is....are these scripts the exact same, just maybe they left out the ER on the new one..but is it still extended release?? Any knowledgeable answers are appreciated! Thanks in advance. ## Hello, Jami! How are you? Good catch, you do need to report this to your pharmacy. Roxane lists this tablet as being a regular relea...

Can oxymorphone 40mg with an imprint of G74 be broken to where I can take a quarter of the pill? They seem too strong... I told the Dr and then he gave me Ultram - no happy medium. ## No, it is not safe to cut or break this tablet, since it is a time released formulation of Oxymorphone. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Have you tried the Tramadol to see if it works for you? ## There are much lower doses of the oxymorphone. It's surprising your doctor started you on the highest dose. I'd try maybe the 20mg. That's if you are still looking for that medium.

has anyone heard of opana 20 half moons cuz they cum str8 from pharm but they aint no where to be found on here ## Hello, Tina! How are you? Yes, the tablets with that logo and the number 229 on them contain 20mgs of Oxymorphone in an extended release formulation, it's a generic for Opana ER. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Opana ER details here. Is there anything else I can help with? Are there any other questions or concerns? ## The ACTIVIS 20MG Opana's are the BEST N STRONGEST OUT THERE THEY BLOW AWAY THE G73 20MG ones!!! That's what I just got n they suck compared to the A'S ## So I just read on a thread that Activis is...

The new CDC guidelines are in effect, causing my pain specialist to dramatically reduce my Opana ER and prn oxymorphone from 10mgs/ER BID to 5mgs/bid and keep the IM oxymprohone at 60/10mg tabs for 60 days. My understandibg is that it can be increased to a more therapeutic level after empilirical documentation that the 60/mg morphine/day is not providing the needed relief. I need an increase now! Not a reduction!!! How long must a person sustain personal viability before getting g a therapeutic dosage!? ## Go to change.org and sign the petition to make chronic pain sufferers exempt from CDC restrictions on schedule 2 drugs. There are a few other similar petitions as well. One is for a "pain card" to allow ease in getting meds needed.

do any companies making the generic opana 40 mg er make the uncrushable kind? i prefer the formulated opanas... please help with any info ## Gobal 40mg are yellow ## there is no direct generic equivalent to the Endo brand name Opana (which only exists now in the non crushable abuse-proof formulation) A good alternative is have your doc write for oxymorphone HCL ER...they are a generic but not exactly like Opana...but they are designed to work the same way over a 12 hour period...I have found most pharmacies must special order & non-chain stores will have better luck. Walgreens for example is hit\miss...sometimes they get em..most times no...a smaller, private owned pharmacy usually has easier time ordering ## Oxymorphone 30mg er I have had plenty they work just like old formula ## W...

taking opana 20mg and oxycodone 30 mg for breakthrough and want to know if they show up the same on a urine or saliva test ## It actually depends on the type of test being used. There are some basic tests that just show the presence of opiates, however, there are others that can show the specific opiate that was taken. If the latter test is used, then they will be able to tell them apart and know you took both opana and oxycodone. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, you can't really ask them what type of test you're being given? I hope the above info helps! Did you give yourself enough time before your drug test to detox a bit? ## will they be able to tell at the lab? ## I'm taking 20mg of opana twice a day and 15mg of oxycodon 4 x a day. I ran out of oxycodone . I get drug test...

How long does it take to work, have 30 oxycodone for break thru pain! I used to take Opana 40Mg ER & seemed to work better, or faster! Broke back in service, then in 1975, again in 2002, with 12mmx8mm rupture @ L3-4 & fragment in nerve root @ L3-4, moderate severe spinal stenosis From C3 to L-5, crippled up but 77 Sept 11, 2017 & I don't want operations (to be gutted like fish been told by doctors!) & I have diabetes & heart problems too! Help, what is best for severe pain, 24-7 with terrible neoupathy down left leg, thigh to foot! ## It really varies from person to person. A time released medication is slowly released over the dosage period, so it may not alleviate all of your pain immediately. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit f...

I was just Rx'd Provigil (modafinil), which is a mild stimulant for Narcolepsy, Sleep Apnea, and Shift Work Sleep Disorder. In my case, it's for mixed sleep apnea and Hypersomnia, (which is similar to Narcolepsy). Well, I am currently scheduled to have a lumbar L5-S1 DISCECTOMY. Consulting w/ the Neurosurgeon and agreeing to surgery was around 3 days AFTER I started taking the Provigil (modafinil). The Neurosurgeon Rx'd oxycodone/APAP 10-325 for pain control in the meantime...oh surgery is in 3 weeks. Here's the real question. I have ALWAYS been a strange opiate metabolizer when it comes to Pro-Drugs or drugs that rely on being broken down by specific liver enzymes in order for the REAL effective metabolites to do their magic. For instance, and I apologize if this is com...

I need help on finding out the price for oxymorphone 10 mg tablets. I need 180 per month from the pharmacy. I also need help with Quinaprill (generic). ## I'm sorry, but I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. this site does not manufacture, nor sell any medications, this is an information only website. The price for any medication is going to vary from pharmacy to pharmacy and location to location. Have you tried checking with different drug stores in your area to find the cheapest price possible? ## Where can I fill my script of opana 7.5 in or around nashville ## Just got oxymorphone IR 10mg tablets manufactured by Roxane. But I've done some research on this manufacturer and there appears to be no IR made by them? I always had the KVK TECH manufacturer in the past.

My physician recently prescribed 20mg of Oxymorphone 2X a day with 10mg Oxycodone for breakthrough pain up to 3 a day. My question is what is equivalent strength of the Oxymorphone to the Oxycodone? Dr. Made it seem like it's very strong, which initially was in first month but now 3 months later, not as much. I do have multiple pain issues, not just back pain. Still I find myself taking all 3 Oxycodone for quite a bit of breakthrough pain. Dr is acting as if I shouldn't need but 2 for in between. Any thoughts? ## Hello, Bel! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. Oxymorphone is actually twice as strong as Oxycodone, so it's a 2 to 1 ratio. 20mgs of Oxymorphone equals 10mgs of Oxycodone. However, it is normal for your doctor to want you to use the least amount po...

Description Of Generic Oxymorphone ER ## There are several on the market, since it is available in different dosages, but to provide you with some examples... A round, gray pill, with the number 261 on one side and a logo that looks like a moon on the other is 7.5mg tablet. A round, white pill, with the number 262 and the same logo is a 15mg tablet. Do either of those match the tablet you are questioning? ## It's a crying shame that the Big Shots in charge can have a say in who makes what meds and who gets what. For them to tell Endo to stop production on Opana is quite a joke! I bet if they were the one's in pain they might be thinking a lot different! It is sad that people die from overdose, I wish they would put out the numbers on the people who have died or just overdosed th...

I am prescribed 5mg of Methadone twice a day, and 5mg of oxycodone twice a day for break through pain. I have been taking my medication EVERY DAY like it's prescribed. I just received a letter from my Dr. stating that he is pulling me off of my meds because my oxycodone levels were too low and my methadone did not show up AT ALL. It also stated that I had oxymorphone in my system which I have NEVER taken. I didn't even know what it was I had to look it up. Can someone please explain to me why a medicine that I take EVERY DAY is NOT showing up in my system, and why is one that I'VE NEVER TAKEN showing up. Thank you. ## OXYmorphone is showing up because Oxycodone as the parent drug will not stay in your system long. Oxymorphone is the metabolite of Oxycodone. As for your urine...

My boyfriend is on day 3 of an opana detox. Today he found blood in his stool. Is this a rare detox side effect or could it be another health issue? Also, is it better to stop cold turkey or take smaller amounts every day? ## No, that's not a normal withdrawal/detox symptom, they typically include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, rebound pain, and anxiety, according to the NIH. If it was bright red blood, that may be due to irritation from diarrhea, or hemorrhoids, according to the NIH, while old dark blood could be something internal, such as an ulceration. Regardless of the cause, he should have it checked out by his doctor to be safe. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi I have been only taking up to maybe 2 oximorhone 5 a day with only taking 1/2 at a time! I was on 4 s hyd...

I got the place for u, I was paying $412 for 90 oxymorphone 15mg and $125 for 120 30mg oxycodone. I now pay $177 for 90 15mg oxymorphone and $55 for 120 30mg oxycodone and like I said, I have no insurance. And they carry the moons. But what I do to keep from WD is, I insufflate half a moon in the morning and it last me bout 5 hours, then I'll insufflate a 30mg roxi or take about 2 orally, then around 5pm I'll insufflate the other half of the moon and that keeps me going, every now and then, I'll take more, but I dont take as directed,...

I live in Oak Ridge TN have a legit prescription for 60 oxymorphone ER 20 mg. Doctor is within 20 miles of my residence. Does anyone know where I might be able to fill them? ## Unfortunately, there is no directory of pharmacies that have any given medication in stock that I can refer to for you. The only thing you can really do is physically go to them, with the prescription in hand, to see if anyone has it in stock. If you call them, they won't give you an honest answer, because they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is an actual customer with a need, or a potential thief. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Will I overdose if I take 80 mg of Opana ER? I can't remember if I took my 40 mg tablet this morning. ## Are you in pain? Are you experiencing any withdrawal effects? I don't mean to be rude, but your general symptoms should answer your question, otherwise it is always best to check with your doctor to see what they advise you to do in such a situation. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## Depends on how long you been taking them and if you have a build up in your system. If you have been a few days without you're probably alright. If you haven't ever taken them maybe half that dose, and if you took one and you've been on them for a l...

I'm trying to ascertain the length of time this pill is effective. Is it immediate release or extended release? ## This tablet is manufactured by KVK Teck and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxymorphone in a regular release formulation, which means it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to start working, after taking it. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
