Oxycodone With Aspirin

I'm a quad and take oxy 5mg and aspirin. For years I was on percodan and they stopped making it, so now I take generic. Now I hear they are going to stop making oxy + aspirin together. Can you find out if there is any truth to that n do they still not make name brand percodan? I would appreciate you looking into this and letting me know what you could find out. Thank you so much. Means a lot. I have enough built up for a little while.

Yes, it is true that the name brand in this dosage has been discontinued.

I don't know anything about them discontinuing the generics, as well. However, if it's what works best for you and your doctor approves, you could always take a 5mg Oxycodone tablet with regular Aspirin. It would be the same thing, there is nothing special or different about the Aspirin in the combination product. It was just added, because it helps the Oxycodone work better for some people.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
