Can a pharmacist change the date of your next prescription of OPANA because you had some left over from the prior months and didn't pick the new Opana prescription up for 7 days after it was filled. The pharmacist adjusted the next OPana prescription 7 days longer the next time I get the Opana filled

Pharmacists are now responsible for helping to curb opiate issues, such as over prescribing, improper prescribing, and etc. So yes, if you tell them that you have some left, they are expected to adjust accordingly, to avoid anyone being able to stock up on an excess. I'm not saying this is what you were trying to do, I'm just explaining why they are supposed to do this.

The FDA warns that Oxycodone, and Opana, carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Is there anything I can help with?
