Oxycodone 5mg/5ml

I got a prescription for oxycodone 5mg/5ml solution 1800ml total I am confused on how much is actually in the bottle . I understand that 5ml is equal to one percocet 5mg pill but on the bottle on the side of it it only goes up 300ml so if it has a quantity of 1800ml of formula in it how much is actually in a ml, mabye I am confused any info is greatly appreciated I have talk ed to the pharmacy but I am still confused. Thanks

What did the pharmacist tell you? Maybe we can decipher what he/she told you.

I believe that if you check you will find that you have a script for 1800 ml ( this would be almost 2 liters ) and the pharmacy has give you 300 ml and you have several refills on that script.

I agree with what Daren has stated, but only your pharmacy can say for sure. As to the dosage, that would be 5mgs per 5mls, just as you stated, the amount in the bottle dispensed to you does not change the dosage.

The FDA warns that Oxycodone carried the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache.
