Does anyone know when Morphine Sul 100mg ER release the pain killer . a little history I was on methadone 40mg 4 times a day for 3 years dorctor said it was messing my heart up and put more on the morphine the100mg ER and Imediate 30 mg I find I hurting in about two hours then I need another pill so I justy wondering if thats how long the relase peorid is also I having to pay for my meds out of my pocket how much is the oxycontin I have problems breathing with the morpjine and does the oxy work anybetter ## Hi Mike, I'm not sure of the question you are asking, but am very familiar with Morphine Sul. Has anyone heard that by the end of the next two months that no ins company will pay for oxy of anykind. The Gov is going to completly pull the drug alltogteher. I found this out today from my pain clinic. Just thought you would like to know. I broke my neck back and many other bones in a bad car accident, and my Doc told me since there are so many robberies murders and such from this drug and abuse they are going to completly quit making it. ## I hope not its a very affective tablet just because its growing in popularity as a recreational drug doesn't mean it should be banned tighter regulation may be needed it shouldn't be banned all together ## They can't do that. can you take oxycotin under the tongue and is it more effective that way and faster pain reliever? ## If you are talking about the extended release version (Oxycontin ER), then I would say no. It is meant to be absorbed by the body gradually, over a longer period, and should be swallowed whole. You risk overdose if you take it differently from how it was prescribed. If you are talking about the regular version (not ER), then some people choose to abuse this form - of course I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT - but this version is typically absorbed by the body all at once. This means many companies sell different doses of OxyCodone. Always a good idea to be very careful when there is a pill in question, especially with something as strong as this. Mixing Oxy's with alcohol can be fatal. Feel free to post back if you have any other questions or information to add.

MYLAN A little round white pill ## Is this a generic OxyContin? ## Mylan is a company, it is not a generic name.. Mylan A is Alprazolam which is an anti-anxiety,, the white pill with a slit in the middle with Mylan A written on it is 0.25 mgs. ## Leah's id is correct, this is definitely not any type of narcotic. ## IS THIS A GENERIC OXYCODIN

Sadly I know somebody who passed away not too long ago when he took Oxycontin along with alcoholic beverages. He was in his early 20's, and it is obvious that he had a substance abuse problem. Isn't it true that it is well known that the interaction between Oxys and alcohol is potentially fatal? Could it have been a suicide, or perhaps irresponsible use of prescription drugs? This is a very sad situation, especially for his family. It is also sad how these kinds of medication are being used illegally. I am a Gov't Contractor working in Kuwait, I have a lower back problem that req's me to the use of a mild narcotic to control the pain. A local doctor here has prescribed me OxyContin 80mg, which is way beyond my needs. Before I came I was on Lortab 7.5mg, which was suitable. My delimma is that in this country narcotics are not available and I don't know where to turn. I have looked into online pharmacies, but they seem scandalous and fraudulent. I am not sure if they are 20mg or 40mg but to be honest it feels like NO Milligrams whatsoever! It is a slow-release schedule 2 controlled substance that is a highly addictive narcotic...especially if not taken according to the directions. Do not crush, chew, abuse or do anything other than swallow the pill whole. It is a painkiller used for moderate to severe pain. Throughout the 8-12 hour period (however your doctor prescribed it) the medication will be released. 40mg oxycontin is equivalent to 8 of the 5mg oxycodone, (without acetaminophen). round flat 44/148 ## My mom started taking Oxycontin after she had back surgery in 2002. Everything was fine for awhile, now she's addicted to them. They really helped her at first. Now she doesn't do anything. She barely eats, she never gets out of the house except to go to the doctor to get another prescription, she doesn't pay attention to my kids or my niece and nephew. She doesn't clean the house, go grocery shopping, cook for my dad or anything else! My dad has to do all that on his days off!! This drug can really help people if they use it correctly. Please be careful. My children will never know the way their Grandma used to be. It's very sad. This is a very powerful drug.

little white pill one side says h13 the other side reads 446 is this an oxycontin 30mg pill ## small, round and yellow pill, says H13 on one side and 446 on the other ## You are viewing the tablet upside down, the marking is actually ETH 446, made by ETHEX pharmaceuticals. This is Oxycodone 30mgs, a regular release narcotic, generic for Roxicodone.

Oxycontin is a very potent narcotic pain killer, highly addictive and very dangerous to use without a doctor's supervision. To Kelle, sorry, that is not a prescription drug marking, that is something available over the counter and there is no way to know for certain what it is, because OTC items are not regulated like prescription items.
