Oxycontin Old Formula Is Still Available In The Eu & Uk

Many countries in Europe (such as Bard for UK and Mundi Pharma of Germany, Austria, Italy, and Napp) still make the original formula OC 20, OC 40 and the OC 80. That has been the case for me since 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. I do not know about the future... If Europe changed from OC to embossed OP on the Oxycontin, I will be forced to try USA Roxicodone 30 mg I/R and have to deal with the notorious Pain Management Clinics, as a last resort. I pray I do not have to go that route. I am a USA citizen, and it gets more difficult by the year to obtain OxyContin outside the USA in the 1996 Purdue original formula; and the price has risen dramatically, "from my medical providers, from Europe".

THE dea & the government needs to feel the pain we die with daily, so they can see how horrifying it is. Being an american citizen is no bargain, you have no rights to live. Sorry for the s*** you go thru to not have pain. You deserve to be comfortable.

The problem today is we have let control be taken by the dea and CDC. Truth, obesity is a disease. They don't shut down McDonald's. Alcoholism is a disease, they let alcohol be distributed and bought everywhere. The truth is that tramadol is a huge killer, and long acting opiates. But, there are warnings and if you take accordingly you will be good. Someone needs to put a stop to both organizations. Dea can't stop illegal so hit the legal. CDC just needs to shut up. If my doctor sees fit that I get the amount and or dosage I get then I think he's earned his right through schooling. The fact is, a lot of people have to suffer to save the lives of some people who are suffering. They will save the life but make it a miserable one. They say, research has shown that people that don't get treated with pain medication heal faster. Don't know that for sure but, how much faster do they get back to work? Family has to eat, bills don't stop. Some of us aren't fortunate enough to sit back for a full recovery before heading back to taking care of our families. I say, everyone stand up and tell them hell no! It's our country. It's my body, living contained isn't living. They call that jail! They use it as a form of punishment.

You Absolutely nailed it! Who are they to dictate our quality of life. We non-addicts who have NEVER had a drug urine screen (btw,not humiliating is it? Yes!) sarcasm does not translate well in text. Or exhibited any aberrant drug behavior and we r the biggest casualties in this "War on Drugs"

The only thing is, who do we get to help us. Try writing politicians. That letter or email is trashed. And the Arkansas state board at home here, can actually override the CDC and dea in that department but, they take the CDC' recommendations as gospel. Crucifying doctors. I can understand not wanting to lose your practice. But, isn't there a binding oath of taking care of your patients. In all honesty there should be a lawsuit against the FDA for approving it, for it to be so bad. The problem is most of the population can go on with their lives because they haven't had to endure. But, where's the fellow American standing up for the less fortunate. Something needs to be done before it's a afterthought. And WE are stuck. I believe there's something more they are going to try to push on us. To close, everyone talks about the price of healthcare, let's see, pennies a pill, or hundreds to thousands a shot? That may or may not work. And if it doesn't you have to wait another month or two "in pain" while they try something else". Did mice and guinea pigs cost too much? Just frustration, hoping that someone will see and remove this burden so we can get back to living. Sad stuff!

It's time for the people to stop just sitting by and doing nothing. I watched 2 seniors be told they need to take or smoke marijuana. These seniors have worked all their lives, they've fought drug abuse with their grown children, they believed marijuana led to hard drugs, now they're being told "Go Smoke A Joint" and we have to remove your needed pain meds during your hip replacement? The truth is, there are those in government that want to destroy Americans, they've worked to control the people for years, they ARE a shadow government. If the people don't stand up with ALL they've got, it might become too late, if it isn't already. I say, it's never too late to fight for your rights and the constitution. So, send letters and call your government.
