Typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, weight changes, drowsiness, blurred vision and fatigue. There is no way of knowing whether or not your seizures will return, you'll really just have to take the medication, as prescribed and then see what happens. Some people don't experience more seizures, but some people require such a medication for the rest of their lives. Are there any other questions or concerns?

i was told its a sleeping tablet but not sure would like to make sure before i take them ## Based on the description provided, I believe I found your pill to be Oxcarbazepine (300 mg). Manufacturer: Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. NOTE: This pill is regarding as being brown and not peach. However I haven't found a photo of the pill to verify how closely this color is to 'peach'. Often times light brown or tan colored pills are falsely depicted in descriptions. Oxcarbazepine is an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizing drug, used primarily in the treatment of epilepsy. It is also used to treat anxiety and mood disorders, and benign motor tics. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Oxcarbazepine Details Does this sound like a possibility?

Has anyone been taking this for mental issues and if so how does it make you feel ## Oxcarbazepine is an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizing drug, used primarily in the treatment of epilepsy. It is also used to treat anxiety and mood disorders, such as bipolar disorder. I did come across a brief article on the topic of using this medication for mental issues, however, it has not been as heavily studied as other similar drugs: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17376019 I know this isn't necessarily the type of review you may be looking for, but I thought some information would still be more helpful than none at all. I found myself stumbling upon a few reviews by running a google search for "oxcarbazepine bipolar reviews". I hope this helps!

Can someone help me identify these pills: Oval Yellow Marked 13 / 9 On One Side And G on the other. Also found a Diamond Shaped White Pill marked 7427 on one side and 9 / 3 on the other. The "/" is a break section in each pill. I was taking Oxetol 300mg twice a day for 7 years. Then Oxetol 450mg twice a day for the last 3 years. Within this timeframe I've noticed a steady loss of memory & concentration, as well as restlessness & weakness. Should I taper off & stop treatment? ## I think deciding on whether or not you're going to continue using this medication, really comes down to determining if the benefits of taking the medication outweigh the side effects you've been experiencing. From my perspective it sounds like the side effects have become too bothersome. Depending on the length of time you've been taking Oxetol (Oxcarbazepine), it may be best to taper, since this drug can cause withdrawal symptoms. I hope this helps!
