Oralcon Contraceptive Pills - Is It Possible To Get Pregnant When I Am On This (Top voted first)

I am using oralcon contraception, but since the beginning of April i haven't seen my period. Is it possible to get pregnant while on this?

hi! i did not get my periods for 4months, the gynae has put me on oralcon, im takn it for a month now and i still havnt gotn my periods, is it safe for me to have intercourse or should i still use protection? or is there any reason do you know off as to why i still have not got my periods?

All oral contraceptives carry a slight risk of still getting pregnant. I believe it could be a 1-10% estimated possibility depending on the brand; but in my opinion that merits reason enough to use another form of protection.

Irregular periods however, are a general side effect of these types of medications; so it's not always something to be overly concerned about. This may simply be due to a fluctuation in your hormones.

To make using oral contraceptives as safe and reliable as possible, you should understand how and when to take them and what side effects may be expected. A paper with information for the patient should've been given to you with your filled prescription, no? If not, I would ask your doctor for one, since your success with it largely depends on your knowledge of how to use it properly and what you might come to expect if something goes wrong.

Yes dear. Remember that Oralcon simulates your body in pregnancy, in other your ovum(egg) is matured and once you stop taking it chances of pregnancy are very very high. Good luck on having a baby.

The only time you can fall pregnant while you are on the contraceptive pill is when you skipped one day or a few. Sometimes you might have a skipped an hour or so.
Oralcon Contraceptive pills sometimes do have an impact to your menstrual cycle, I advise you to go see a doctor or visit your nearest clinic for consultations... I was in the same situation as you are in and i was scared as i was not thinking or even a good state of having a child but went to the doctor and was told that the pill had an impact on my menstrual cycle so I was advised to go for another contraceptive strategy and I am happy now with it .

There is a huge possibility of you being pregnant... Hence you are always advised to take them the same time everyday. Oralcon lasts for only 24 hours exactly in your body
however, I advise you to go see a doctor just in case you are pregnant

Hello. I started taking oralcon in Nov 2017 for the first time and my periods started to be abnormal... At the end of Nov they stopped completely so I took the red oralcon pills but nothing happened. Then I decided to stop on the 3rd of Dec. My boy and I had intercourse after I stopped and it's now the 9th of January 2018 yet I still haven't seen my periods. I tested negative on my p.t.
