Opana Or Oxymorphone 10 Mg Immediate Release Use And Dangers

Updated

I am prescribed 6 Opana 10 mg immediate release, and I have come a long way considering they ran me as a guinea pig and had me on it all - from Fentanyl patch 100 (yes that's right 100 mcg), and the breakthrough med was dilaudid 4 mg and the 8 mg, as well as having been on OxyContin (the op kind / not the old ones). That was in my experimental days. I was on the 60's of those which didn't help even with the breakthrough pain. I lost a lot of good friends from the old ones. They overdosed and died. The new version never touched my pain either. I was on 15, to 20, to 30 mg. Also Lortab and Percocet (the 10's). None helped my pain. All you think is about is the pain and just wanting a normal life. And not having to depend on damn pills ever again. To be able to have babies again. I only have one and I hold onto him like gold. Now the only dang one that has and continues to work is the Opana 10mg immediate release. I tried the ER of them and it's no help. And I refuse to put one thing in body that is straight POISON. I'm proud of myself to be on only one opioid, not two, at this point. And I take ibuprofen, muscle relaxers for spasms (which are HELL to say it lightly), and it helps with tightness and heaviness which I live day to day with, and Gabapentin. I am still ashamed but proud all in the same. My message: Don't abuse and don't take opioids it if you don't have true pain! Think of your kids, your life... Jail, prison, or death is all that it leads to. Please. If you lived one day in my shoes the pain would overwhelm you and would bring the strongest to their knees. Go to church, but the right one. I have one and it's an amazing church. The pastor doesn't judge, he only wants to be saved and claim your spot to an eternity with your savior. I just wanted to share. Thank you.

Try only taking gaba. You are lucky you get 10 mg Opana. Count your lucky stars (god made)! You need to suffer in abed with No pain relief meds to realize how lucky you are. I’m in my 60 with injuries from left foot right knee neck& now osteoperosis weakening my bones that suffer injury. Open your eyes that there is no cure for chronic pain. It’s suffer & take medication. Most older Americans get no medication like you. Get off opioids & feel how we feel!! I’m sure as there's a God above, you’ll be asking for medication (opioids) from your dr again. Let me know how it feel not to be able to get to bathroom let alone to church? Suffering till death!

Only you can tell your dr this is enough medication to ease your pain. Open your mouth instead of bashing your dr for trying to help you. He’s not a mind reader. You need to be the main part of your recovery. Stop putting blame on Drs & see your are the problem in your medical care. Too many dream docs are being shut down & put in jail for helping chronic pain patients. You sir wouldn’t get to church without your medication. Unless you don’t really need it!!! Open your eyes & mouth to work with your dr or stop all your opioids!!!

You didn't even say what condition you are taking all these opiates for and how in the world did you convince a legit pain doctor to give you such outrageous amounts of very, very intense medications? If you don't include a reason for being prescribed these it sounds like you're playing the blame game. So, what is the diagnosis you suffer to have been prescribed these kind of opiates in such high doses and still received no relief? What state do you fill your scripts in? It's hard to believe as so many of us are just fighting to get a doctor that will even help us with pain control and you seem to have had anything you asked for. Many of us live in excruciating pain every day without all the chemical help you have gotten, so have some compassion and don't lecture and judge. It's disrespectful to those that suffer without all the help you have managed to get. They can't go to church because they are in pain still. People need compassion and not judgement from those that are lucky enough to get access to pain management. I am a stroke survivor and have to fight endless battles to get any type of relief. It's hard enough to handle the crap that most doctors put people thru without having folks that also suffer chronic pain make judgemental comments to others that may not be as well off pain med wise.!!!!!!!!

You are on poison. What do you think gabapentin is. Who cares if you take one pain med or 5 as long as they help with the pain. What planet are you from with thinking like that? I’m interested....100 mcg so what ,what is your point?

I am sorry to be nosey but what is wrong with you to have to take so much meds? I have CRPS and so I do understand some of what you go through with each day. You keep your faith in your GOD, He will save you in more ways than I can tell you here. I will be talking with the MAN after while so I will put in a good word for you.

You say your proud that you are on only 1 opioid now. Yet you still take muscle relaxers and ibuprofen. And then go and preach to people not to take these drugs because you’ve lived through this horrible set of events that caused those around you to die etc. You speak as if you are the only one who has terrible pain that drops them to your knees. Well, your not the only one. You sound like a hypocrite. Please don’t preach the the problems of opioid abuse to others, especially when you haven’t even came close to working on your own addiction- yes, face the light, you are an addict. Sorry to have to tell, but anybody who has dealt with addiction can read right through you. Just don’t Preach!!!

Iam also not sure of what you're trying to share with any of us but Iam seeking help and living in pain. Doctors are afraid to help us with our pain. I have spinal stenosis, nerve damage, osteoporosis, neuropathy oh and pelvis hip pain from fracture. So yes you're blessed to get any help. I take gabapentin and bottles of ibuprofen, a cconstant battle with high blood pressure. Thanks

It sounds like u have all the answers clearly from your own perspective which is far from helpful. Taking p meds 4 those THAT ACTUALLY NEED THEM is considered a blessing rather than suffering in pain. You go ahead & be proud of yourself as you indeed put others down for needing more than 1 p med, as u have contributed nothing but negativity to this conversation with your moralistic views!
