Opana 10 Vs Percocet

opana 10 vs percocet 10 for chronic pain in legs from neuropathy + severe muscle atrophy! I have a bullet in my back which can not be removed. some one told me about opana as he suffers with the same injury! Was wondering if the opana works better on this type of nerve pain better than the percocet?

Hi Delain - sorry to hear about your chronic pain. Technically speaking the Opana (active ingredient Oxymorphone) is a significantly stronger pain killer than Percocet if you are taking the same dosage. However, depending on how your body metabolizes it and exactly how you are taking the medication could influence the result. If you have already started the Opana may I ask how you are finding it compared to the Percocet? Hopefully you are finding the relief you need!

I havent switched but will be asking my doctor about it! The percocet was helping at 1st but the pain isnt responding 2 it now! My friend who also carries a bullet just suggested it 2 me claims it works much better! We both suffer extreme pain along atrophy + nerve damage! My question is does the opana work better with neuropathy + atrophy pain? I guess since its stronger it would help more! At times I feel like cutting my leg off at the knee just 2 get rid of the pain!!! Thanks 4 the help! If I decide 2 go with a stronger pain killer I will post the results living with pain 4 the rest of my life!!!
