Omeprazole + Salamol Plus Email Addresscorrection

I have just been prescribed Omeprazole for suspected acid reflux. As I am still breathless from previous bronchitis, can I still take Salamol (blue) and Qvar (Beclometasone Dipropionate? [my original email address has no capital P at the end of it - the address below is the correct one!]

Hi Nemo,

The two medications Salamol and Qvar, (which are often combined in clinical practice), may result in additive hypokalemic effects.

Hypokalemia is a lower-than-normal amount of potassium in the blood. Symptoms: A small drop in potassium usually doesn't cause symptoms. However, a big drop in the level can be life threatening.

"Other than that", my research shows that there are no drug interactions found between the active ingredients in Omeprazole, Salamol, and Qvar,

i wanna help....please stop taking omeprazole, it wouldnt change anything. i also suffered from reflux for half a year, thought would never recover.....til i drank soya milk when i have an attack o acidity....at that very moment it relieved the acidity, since then i drank soya milk everyday til itbrought my life back to normal without taking medicines....

Thank you! I'm also suffering from reflux for a long time now and I am soooo tired of taking medicines. But I'm lucky to have a soya milk in the fridge right now.
